It is the year 1775, and England and France are undergoing a period of social upheaval and turmoil. The forces that are leading to revolution in France are colliding with a circle of people in England, causing their destinies to be irrevocably intertwined.

Taking shelter in the tavern is Sydney Carton and Lucie Manette. This is their first meeting. Lucie Manette, a young woman who has been raised as an orphan and a ward of Tellson's bank, has learned that her father is alive and has recently been released from prison after eighteen years of unjust incarceration. She is traveling to the French suburb of Saint Antoine with Mr. Jarvis Lorry, a longtime Tellson's employee who had managed her father's affairs before his imprisonment. They find her father at the home of Ernest Defarge, a former domestic of Dr. Manette's who has housed the doctor since his release. Though her father is teetering on the brink of insanity, she solemnly vows that she will be true to him and devote her life to helping him recover himself.

Takarazuka Elisabeth 25th Anniversary Special Gala Concert (25th Anniversary Version)

Since its premiere in Vienna in 1992, the musical "Elisabeth" has been performed all over the world. In Japan, "Elisabeth" was first performed by the Takarazuka Snow troupe in 1996, prior to the first performances in other countries. A total of 10 versions of the musical have been performed by different troupes, making it one of Takarazuka Revue's most popular musicals. The "Elisabeth TAKARAZUKA 25th Anniversary Special Gala Concert" was held in 2021 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Snow troupe's first performance.

The last production for top stars Kurenai Yuzuru and Kisaki Airi. At Marina Bay Sands Singapore, the “God of Stars Contest” is held to determine the “Saint of Cuisine”—the best chef in the world. Amidst the glitz and glamor of top chefs from around the world coming together for this event, we find Hong Xing-xing, a brilliant, three-star master chef at the Shanghai-based chain restaurant “Golden Star Group.”Suddenly, a woman appears and says she must speak with Hong. That woman is Eileen Chow, who runs a restaurant in Paradise Market, where Hong intends to build his theme park. She has come here to tell Hong, right to his face, that the hawker centre, the street stall district her ancestors struggled to build up, will not be handed over to him.
