Love Blooms Out on the Murasakino

Asuka Period, Japan. Ooama no Miko meets Nukata no Ookimi when he goes with his older brother (Nakano Ooe no Miko) to her house. There Nakano Ooe is wooing Nukata's older sister, and so the two younger siblings meet and fall in love. Five years later, Ooama and Nukata are married, and a daughter has just been born. Ooma talks happily to Nukata about his plans with his brother to jointly rule their empire of Yamato. As Nukata listens to his naive, happy chatter, she becomes uneasy. Later, Nakano Ooe arrives and tells Nukata that she has grown and become very lovely. He has fallen in love with her, and wants her for his own. Caught between the two brothers, Nukata flees back to her father's house.

Lupin the Third: Search for the Queen's Necklace!

Musical by the Takarazuka Revue. In modern day France, an exhibition is being held at the Palace of Versailles of the "Necklace of Marie Antoinette". The necklace had been used in a fraud case that marked a chapter in French history and later went missing. It has been reproduced using real diamonds. Fujiko has sneaked into Versailles, as has the gang of Lupin, Goemon, and Jigen - all with the intention of getting their hands on the necklace, which is valued at over 3 billion yen in today's money. But they bump into Inspector Zenigata. Lupin is the one who manages to foil Zenigata and grab the necklace. Yet the instant he lays hands on it, everyone is enveloped in a mysterious light. When they regain consciousness, they notice they have gone through a time slip to 1785, before the French Revolution when Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were around.

The setting is Russia, late in the 19th century. An engagement party is being held for Mitzy, the daughter of a duke, and the young nobleman Dmitri Ivanovich Nekhlyudov, at the estate of Duke Korchagin on the outskirts of Moscow. A large crowd of people, including Nekhlyudov's aunt Ivanovna and his friend Schonbock, have come out to bless the young couple. But news arrives at the party informing Nekhlyudov that the start of a trial in which he has been enlisted to serve as a juror has been moved forward. He leaves Korchagin's residence to fulfill his duty.

Le Muguet

Set in a fictitious duchy in medieval France. This is the story of how the son of an earl grows up as he searches for the truth about the death of his first love. Lucian, the son of an earl, receives secret orders to look into the truth of the circumstances regarding the execution of Lady Charlotte, a noblewoman who married into a neighboring duchy. Charlotte was executed for the suspicious murder of her husband, Lord Garnier. Lucian believes that Charlotte was set up, so he goes to Lord Garnier's lands to contact his heir Emma, Garnier's daughter by his first wife. In 1770, Princess Marie-Antoinette of the House of Hapsburg, youngest daughter of Empress Maria Theresa of Austria, marries at the age of fourteen, Prince Louis (future Louis XVI) of the House of Bourbon, eldest grandson of King Louis XV of France. In anxiety over some childishness still lingering in Marie-Antoinette, Empress Maria Theresa sends over to France her confidant, Count of Mercy-Argenteau, on the mission to tutor Marie-Antoinette to grow up to be a beloved queen of the French people.

Yoshimura Kanichiro, a low-class warrior born the son of a foot soldier in the service of the Nambu clan, the lords of Morioka Domain in northern Japan, is a master of both the martial and scholarly ways.

The Tale of Tatsu-no-miya

Takarazuka Star Troupe 2019 performance. Long, long ago, a lake called Yasha-ga-ike dried up. The village headman sacrificed his daughter to the dragon god who dwelt in the lake, and the rains returned to the village.... In the middle Meiji Period, Iyobe Kiyohiko, a student under the tutelage of the businessman Shimamura, is telling ghost stories with his friends when the tale of Yasha-ga-ike is told. Kiyohiko then sets out for the lake to put his courage to the test, when he encounters a girl being set upon by brigands. When Kiyohiko saves the girl, she brings him to the dragon god's castle (Tatsu-no-miya) at the bottom of the pond as a thank you.
