Musical by the Takarazuka Revue. In modern day France, an exhibition is being held at the Palace of Versailles of the "Necklace of Marie Antoinette". The necklace had been used in a fraud case that marked a chapter in French history and later went missing. It has been reproduced using real diamonds. Fujiko has sneaked into Versailles, as has the gang of Lupin, Goemon, and Jigen - all with the intention of getting their hands on the necklace, which is valued at over 3 billion yen in today's money. But they bump into Inspector Zenigata. Lupin is the one who manages to foil Zenigata and grab the necklace. Yet the instant he lays hands on it, everyone is enveloped in a mysterious light. When they regain consciousness, they notice they have gone through a time slip to 1785, before the French Revolution when Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were around.

This is the story of a poet who lived at the time of the French Revolution. The poet's name was Andrea Chénier. He lived and died amongst love and bloodshed. The numerous words of truth spun by this revolutionary poet became poems for eternity. Even today, they continue to shine light on the hopes that rest in people's hearts.

Resurrection -Infatuation Is Over, Love Remains- / Canon -Our Melody-

The setting is Russia, late in the 19th century. An engagement party is being held for Mitzy, the daughter of a duke, and the young nobleman Dmitri Ivanovich Nekhlyudov, at the estate of Duke Korchagin on the outskirts of Moscow. A large crowd of people, including Nekhlyudov's aunt Ivanovna and his friend Schonbock, have come out to bless the young couple. But news arrives at the party informing Nekhlyudov that the start of a trial in which he has been enlisted to serve as a juror has been moved forward.
