Accadde in paradiso

Anni cinquanta. In una piccola cittadina della Pennsylvania, Mike Shea sogna di abbandonare la vita di provincia e di andare in California con la fidanzata Brenda Carlucci, ma Brenda accetta la proposta di matrimonio di un altro uomo, lasciando Mike da solo. Mike così decide di partire da solo. Lungo la strada, Mike si ferma a causa di un incidente stradale, prestando soccorso ad una donna ed ai suoi due bambini, salvando loro la vita, ma perdendo la sua, annegando. Si ritrova così in Paradiso, accolto da sua zia Lisa, che gli spiega come comportarsi nel nuovo luogo in cui si trova. Durante uno dei suoi giri, Mike incontra e si innamora di Annie Packert, un'anima non ancora nata.

The Minion, determined to help, sends an email with their picture to the UFO's home planet, triggering a rescue party. Before leaving, the UFO uses its grow-ray to enlarge the ladybug into a puppy-sized companion. The Minion, surrounded by friends, joyfully accepts the new “puppy,” ready for more adventures together.
