In 1864, King Ludwig II is crowned the fourth King of Bavaria at the young age of 18, following the sudden death of his father, King Maximilian II. However, the government bureaucrats do not understand his actions as a patron of the arts, valuing beauty and art over politics, and he gradually becomes isolated within the royal court. Ludwig, who is wounded, is visited by a beautiful vision (a giant bird), which is neither dream nor reality.

Lupin the Third: Search for the Queen's Necklace!

Musical by the Takarazuka Revue. In modern day France, an exhibition is being held at the Palace of Versailles of the "Necklace of Marie Antoinette". The necklace had been used in a fraud case that marked a chapter in French history and later went missing. It has been reproduced using real diamonds. Fujiko has sneaked into Versailles, as has the gang of Lupin, Goemon, and Jigen - all with the intention of getting their hands on the necklace, which is valued at over 3 billion yen in today's money. But they bump into Inspector Zenigata. Lupin is the one who manages to foil Zenigata and grab the necklace. Yet the instant he lays hands on it, everyone is enveloped in a mysterious light. When they regain consciousness, they notice they have gone through a time slip to 1785, before the French Revolution when Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were around.

A/L -The Younger Days of Phantom Thief Lupin-

19th-century Paris. At a certain aristocrat's home, the theft of a necklace occurs. Because of this a maid and her son Raoul are turned out of the house; ten years later, he has become a prodigy at Sorbonne University and is popular around the city. The nanny who has been looking after him, Victoire, is an author; her novel The Gentleman Thief becomes a best-seller and the protagonist Arsène Lupin is loved as an idol by the people. But the book is prohibited from sale, and in order to save his aunt and to have his revenge on those responsible for the earlier incident, Raoul hits upon the idea of becoming Arsène Lupin. He once again meets Agnes, whom he served in the aristocrat's home, and together they realize their love for each other.

Before long, those ominous words manifest themselves as a curse and an apparition haunts Don Juan.

On Crescent Island, off the coast of England, a new archaeological site is being excavated: the Lunar Palace. The tycho of Uranus Net Company, Brian Keyes, is sponsoring a beauty contest on the island to choose "a companion for the moon prince", based on local legends. Rock star Alex is invited out to judge the contest. While there he stumbles upon a necklace on the site. The female archaeologist Eileen demands the return of an important artifact, and sparks fly between their two stubborn personalities. Meanwhile we learn that Brian Keyes is not what he seems — he is actually working on mind-control and genetic alterations with the help of his mad scientist. Set in London, a city shrouded in mist and fog at the end of the 19th century, a musical based on the Sherlock Holmes. People's daily lives are threatened by a serial killer, Jack the Ripper, but Holmes deduced that a criminal organisation is involved. The murder was masterminded by Moriarty, a genius mathematician, at the request of a government official. Meanwhile, Holmes is reunited with opera singer Irene, an unforgettable woman who outwitted Holmes once before.

Délicieux!: Sweet Paris

This dazzling Paris revue is about the sweets that fascinate people all over the world. La Fleur, a beautiful but hungry young girl who is lost on the streets of Paris in the middle of the night, steps into an old pâtisserie, or pastry shop. She is greeted by sweet scents and Le Vent, a handsome young pâtissier. He invites La Fleur to roam together along the streets of Paris in the city's halcyon days, from the Belle Époque to Les Années Folles, in search of the ultimate sweets, and accompanied by enchanting music.

A Tale of Two Cities

Taking shelter in the tavern is Sydney Carton and Lucie Manette. This is their first meeting.
