Akira Ifukube has arranged music from his fantastic films into a three-movement symphony, presented here with scenes from the films the music was originally written for. The second half features Makoto Inoue's synthesizer arrangements of Ifukube's music. In this portion, all the music is by Ifukube, but it shows scenes from films Ifukube did not work on. Showcases footage from various monster and science fiction films from Ishiro Honda as well as scenes from Senkichi Taniguchi's Adventure of Kigan Castle.

Takarazuka Elisabeth 25th Anniversary Special Gala Concert (25th Anniversary Version)

Since its premiere in Vienna in 1992, the musical "Elisabeth" has been performed all over the world. In Japan, "Elisabeth" was first performed by the Takarazuka Snow troupe in 1996, prior to the first performances in other countries. A total of 10 versions of the musical have been performed by different troupes, making it one of Takarazuka Revue's most popular musicals. The "Elisabeth TAKARAZUKA 25th Anniversary Special Gala Concert" was held in 2021 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Snow troupe's first performance.

Ouranki / Dream Chaser

The story unfolds in the turbulent period in the history of Japan, where two imperial courts exist. Kusunoki Masatsura, a warlord of the Southern Court, knows the court is approaching its downfall while spending his days fighting against the Northern Court along with his younger brothers: Masatoki and Masanori. Along the way Masatsura meets Ben no Naishi and the two fall in love. The full-blown cherry blossom season arrives, and with a decisive battle looming Masatsura wonders what he is fighting for. Never Say Goodbye ~The Footsteps of Lovers~

Set against the background of the Spanish Civil War, the plot centers on socialist playwright Katherine McGregor and renowned photographer Georges Malraux, a Polish Jew who fled his homeland for Paris. The two first meet in Hollywood at a party announcing the film adaptation of Katherine's play Tempest in Spain, based on the opera Carmen. The two are reunited in Barcelona, where they unexpectedly find themselves falling in love as they become embroiled in a battle against fascism.

Me and My Girl

Takarazuka Moon Troupe 1995 performance of Me and My Girl, based on the Broadway musical of the same name, with book and lyrics by L. Arthur Rose and Douglas Furber, music by Noel Gay. Setting stage at 1930s London, William (Bill) is a young man brought up in the villages and the next heir to the Earldom of Hareford. This is the story of how Bill grew as a proper gentleman, and the romantic comedy masterpiece between him and his lover, Sally. In this Takarazuka performance, Amami Yuuki who plays character Bill, and together with Kano Maria who plays as Sally, we will present to you this heartful musical that is filled with famous songs.

Lupin III: Search for the Queen's Necklace!

Musical by the Takarazuka Revue. In modern day France, an exhibition is being held at the Palace of Versailles of the "Necklace of Marie Antoinette". The necklace had been used in a fraud case that marked a chapter in French history and later went missing. It has been reproduced using real diamonds. Fujiko has sneaked into Versailles, as has the gang of Lupin, Goemon, and Jigen - all with the intention of getting their hands on the necklace, which is valued at over 3 billion yen in today's money. But they bump into Inspector Zenigata. Lupin is the one who manages to foil Zenigata and grab the necklace. Yet the instant he lays hands on it, everyone is enveloped in a mysterious light. When they regain consciousness, they notice they have gone through a time slip to 1785, before the French Revolution when Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were around.

Boys Over Flowers

Eitoku Academy is a high school that caters to rich, high-society families. Among the students who attend there are four young men who have the adulation of the entire school, the "Flower 4" (F4). There is spoiled Doumyouji Tsukasa, cool and mysterious Hanazawa Rui, playboy Nishikado Soujirou, and "madam killer" Mimasaka Akira. If these four show any signs of disliking someone, a red tag is put on the locker of that student and they become a target of bullying for the entire school. Makino Tsukushi is from a middle-class family, attending because her parents asked her to. Takarazuka Flower Troupe 2014 Chunichi Theater production. In 1770, Princess Marie-Antoinette of the House of Hapsburg, youngest daughter of Empress Maria Theresa of Austria, marries at the age of fourteen, Prince Louis (future Louis XVI) of the House of Bourbon, eldest grandson of King Louis XV of France. In anxiety over some childishness still lingering in Marie-Antoinette, Empress Maria Theresa sends over to France her confidant, Count of Mercy-Argenteau, on the mission to tutor Marie-Antoinette to grow up to be a beloved queen of the French people.
