Niels Hausgaard's tour, 'I alle de rige lande' (In All the Rich Countries), featuring guitarist Chr. Alvad and singer Signe Svendsen, visited Odense on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. And it was sold out. People got what they came for. As always, Niels Hausgaard's tour of 67 concerts is completely sold out—and it's easy to see why. He is Denmark's best seated stand-up comedian, managing to skewer the warlords Bush and Fogh with witty and funny angles, ridiculing Camre and the Langballe and Krarup cousins until there's not a dry eye in the house. He also exposes the creeping fascism at the Danish royal family's dinner tables, overflowing with marble cake and self-satisfaction.

The release marks yet another occasion on which the four actors Søren Pilmark, Niels Olsen, Asger Reher, and Henrik Koefoed have elevated bawdiness to a higher level. It contains a beautifully varied two-hour show with a brand new Western theme, featuring Niels Olsen in suspenders and fishnet stockings as General Custer, lodge sketches with the brotherhood, Fjærtoman, Asger Reher performing a spectacular stunt in alternative farts, and four-part singing from the four brothers, who totally knock the audience out with barely concealed bawdy innuendos.

The renowned singing lodge Ørkenens Sønner (Sons of the Desert) has created a show that will blow all evil and gloomy thoughts out of the way. The heat hasn't been turned down, but the charm has been turned up! This time, the brave Loge brothers turn their gaze to sensual Paris. In a festive fireworks display of French temptations, historical and piquant scenes are performed, and as always with the awareness that it's all about keeping your finger on the pulse.

Our old lodge brothers are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year. This is being celebrated with the release of their eighth show! The show was recorded over two evenings in April and has now been edited down to just under two hours of fantastic (sultry) entertainment. The show covers a wide range of topics, and this year we meet the Little Mermaid, the Egtved Girl, the Grovbollemanden, and H.C. Andersen. The show also offers a reunion with Olsen, Meyer, Emma, and pet shop owner Clausen from Huset På Christianshavn itself.
