Boys Over Flowers

Eitoku Academy is a high school that caters to rich, high-society families. Among the students who attend there are four young men who have the adulation of the entire school, the "Flower 4" (F4). There is spoiled Doumyouji Tsukasa, cool and mysterious Hanazawa Rui, playboy Nishikado Soujirou, and "madam killer" Mimasaka Akira. If these four show any signs of disliking someone, a red tag is put on the locker of that student and they become a target of bullying for the entire school. To mark the fiftieth anniversary of its premiere, it will return to the stage of the Takarazuka Grand Theater in 2024 for the first time in ten years. This story, a foundational work of shojo manga that continues to be loved by many people across ages and borders, is set in France during the raging revolution, depicting the forbidden love of two couples. The Takarazuka Revue has staged various versions of The Rose of Versailles over the years. In this version that focuses on Fersen, we present the splendid world of The Rose of Versailles in a glorious celebration of its fiftieth anniversary.

Takarazuka Flower Troupe 2014 Chunichi Theater production. In 1770, Princess Marie-Antoinette of the House of Hapsburg, youngest daughter of Empress Maria Theresa of Austria, marries at the age of fourteen, Prince Louis (future Louis XVI) of the House of Bourbon, eldest grandson of King Louis XV of France. In anxiety over some childishness still lingering in Marie-Antoinette, Empress Maria Theresa sends over to France her confidant, Count of Mercy-Argenteau, on the mission to tutor Marie-Antoinette to grow up to be a beloved queen of the French people.

Never Say Goodbye ~The Footsteps of Lovers~

Set against the background of the Spanish Civil War, the plot centers on socialist playwright Katherine McGregor and renowned photographer Georges Malraux, a Polish Jew who fled his homeland for Paris. The two first meet in Hollywood at a party announcing the film adaptation of Katherine's play Tempest in Spain, based on the opera Carmen. The two are reunited in Barcelona, where they unexpectedly find themselves falling in love as they become embroiled in a battle against fascism.

Love at Dal Lake

Lupin III: Search for the Queen's Necklace!

Musical by the Takarazuka Revue. In modern day France, an exhibition is being held at the Palace of Versailles of the "Necklace of Marie Antoinette". The necklace had been used in a fraud case that marked a chapter in French history and later went missing. It has been reproduced using real diamonds. Fujiko has sneaked into Versailles, as has the gang of Lupin, Goemon, and Jigen - all with the intention of getting their hands on the necklace, which is valued at over 3 billion yen in today's money. But they bump into Inspector Zenigata. Lupin is the one who manages to foil Zenigata and grab the necklace. Yet the instant he lays hands on it, everyone is enveloped in a mysterious light. When they regain consciousness, they notice they have gone through a time slip to 1785, before the French Revolution when Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were around.

Vampire Succession

Alucard, a vampire resurrected in present-day New York, has achieved a “degenerative evolution” over the past 700 years. He no longer attacks people for blood, and is no longer afraid of crosses. Even so, he was able to produce his Ninth Symphony featuring the singing of "Ode to Joy." But how? Silk Road - From west to east, from east to west, the Silk Road, a trade route carrying culture, civilization, and people, connected Western Europe with Asia over land and sea. A bandit preying on merchants traveling the route obtains a blue diamond. However, it is in fact the lost eye of the Indian goddess Sita. The jewel has changed hands on countless occasions, at times bringing good fortune to its owner, at other times tragic doom. Having roamed the Silk Road since the long distant past, the Eye of Sita invites the bandit on a journey through the copious memories dwelling behind its dazzling facets.

1789: The Lovers of Bastille

Takarazuka Star Troupe 2023 production. The story is set in France in the latter half of the 1780s. Cracks are starting to appear in the rule of the once-flourishing Bourbon Dynasty. Uprisings by citizens burdened by excessive taxes are a common occurrence throughout the country. Ronan's father was shot to death by officers and his farmland taken away. He makes a desperate vow to take revenge for his father and to have his property returned. Leaving his hometown and heading for Paris, he encounters the young revolutionaries Desmoulins and Robespierre at their stronghold of Palais Royal. Having come into contact with their ideology, he now starts to put his hopes on the coming of a new era.

Takarazuka Moon Troupe 1995 performance of Me and My Girl, based on the Broadway musical of the same name, with book and lyrics by L. Arthur Rose and Douglas Furber, music by Noel Gay. Setting stage at 1930s London, William (Bill) is a young man brought up in the villages and the next heir to the Earldom of Hareford. This is the story of how Bill grew as a proper gentleman, and the romantic comedy masterpiece between him and his lover, Sally. In this Takarazuka performance, Amami Yuuki who plays character Bill, and together with Kano Maria who plays as Sally, we will present to you this heartful musical that is filled with famous songs.
