Come in un immaginario display antologico di stili e personalità, Gioele Dix propone una serie di monologhi comici ambientati nella realtà italiana contemporanea, per descrivere vizi e manie che ci coinvolgono e corrispondono. La sua singolare e personale chiave interpretativa, in bilico costante fra l’intrattenitore e l’attore, permette a Gioele Dix di alternare e mischiare in DIXPLAY il racconto ironico con la parodia, la riflessione sarcastica con la storiella (in scaletta, anche un omaggio al grande Walter Chiari), passando per la rappresentazione di alcuni fortunati personaggi, grotteschi ma non troppo: il viaggiatore, che disserta con pignoleria sulle targhette dei treni, il professore argentino, che si batte scientificamente contro lo sport e - ovviamente – il ben noto automobilista sempre costantemente in…zzato, tornato (o meglio, rimasto) di grande attualità grazie alle recenti apparizioni televisive a Zelig.
