Zanskar is a remote kingdom in the northwest Indian Himalaya, where local people are snow-bound for six months of the year. About 10,000 Zanskaris live in the isolated valley. In winter, mountain passes are blocked, the summer Jeep road closes and buses stop. Two decades ago, three friends founded a ski school - to enable winter travel in the valley, improve quality of life, and to encourage young people to stay in Zanskar by helping establish a culture of mountain sports. The film tells the story of this friendship, the ski school and the development of skiing in the area. Along the way a bigger question is raised. Most recently, the federal government announced a major road building project that will provide year round access to Zanskar. How can Zanskar's wilderness be preserved? It is only a matter of time before the winter road is completed, and the "Big India" rushes in.

Ricostruzione dell'incontro di boxe, valevole per il titolo mondiale dei pesi massimi, tra i pugili neri Mohammed Alì, già Cassius Clay, e George Foreman a Kinshasa (Zaire) il 30 ottobre 1974. Al materiale filmato da Gast nel 1974 a Kinshasa s'aggiungono le interviste allo scrittore Norman Mailer, ai giornalisti Georges Plimpton e Thomas Hauser e al regista Spike Lee che vent'anni dopo commentano l'avvenimento. Più che sul Mohammed Alì della realtà, è un film sul mito, sulla leggenda, sul significato simbolico, sociale e politico di Alì e della sua vittoria sul nero Foreman che paradossalmente nel 1974 incarnò l'odiato zio Sam, quell'America dei padroni bianchi che avevano ridotto i neri a loro immagine e somiglianza.

Nel luglio del 1982, il concerto di Frank Zappa allo Stadio della Favorita di Palermo venne interrotto dopo soli 20 minuti a causa degli scontri tra gli agenti della polizia e il pubblico. Trent'anni dopo, il regista Salvo Cuccia ripercorre il viaggio che portò Zappa a Palermo e a Partinico, il paese siciliano da cui partirono il padre e il nonno del musicista a inizio Novecento per emigrare negli Stati Uniti.

Pink Floyd - Pulse

Dopo innumerevoli rinvii, è arrivato il DVD di Pulse, contenente la registrazione dello spettacolo già edito su doppio CD che i Pink Floyd (orfani di Roger Waters) tennero durante il loro ultimo tour, in promozione dell'album "The Division Bell" nel 1994 all'Earls Curt di Londra. Lo storico concerto era già uscito in VHS ma il supporto digitale, oltre ad apportare migliorie sonore, da la possibilità di vedere filmati inediti dei dietro le quinte. Il concerto è suddiviso in due parti: nella prima si trovano i grandi successi come “Learning To Fly”, “Another Brick In The Wall (part 2)” e “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” mentre la seconda è interamente dedicata a “Dark Side Of The Moon”.

Proseguendo con la storia da dove si era interrotta il primo film, incontriamo nuovamente Nana Komatsu mentre si reca ad un grosso evento musicale la cui star è il gruppo dei Blast, la cui voce è Nana Osaki, che finalmente ha ottenuto il successo tanto ricercato. Nonostante il momento felice Nana Komatsu sembra stranamente giù di morale, non più la ragazza spigliata e sempre allegra di un tempo. Tramite il lungo flashback che ricopre l'intera durata della pellicola si scopre quanto accaduto durante gli ultimi tempi alle due giovani. Nana Osaki, costantemente impegnata nel miglioramento e nella promozione della sua band, torna a stare con Ren, il chitarrista dei Trapnest, e tramite i contatti con questa band riesce a far incontrare Takumi e Nana Komatsu (sua grande fan).
