The Secret Six

Bootlegger/cafe owner, Johnny Franks recruits crude working man Scorpio to join his gang, masterminded by crooked criminal defense lawyer Newton. Scorpio eventually takes over Frank's operation, beats a rival gang, becomes wealthy, and dominates the city for several years until a secret group of six masked businessmen have him prosecuted and sent to the electric chair.

A theatrical dog decides to answer the call of the wild and hunt for his food. He targets two polite twin gophers as his first conquest and tries to kill them with a falling-rock trap hooked to a radish patch, then plots to attract them into range of his clutches by dressing himself like a baby, then by playing music. The gophers foil all of these schemes and trap the dog in his own piano as they play the keys, which are linked to hammers whacking the dog's rear.

The Vocation

Sven Nykvist, best known as Ingmar Bergman cinematographer, made this film as a tribute to his father who was a missionary in Kongo in the early 20th century. The story of his father Gustav Natanael Nykvist is told through his own photos, letters, and films. Director & cinematographer: Sven Nykvist. Il luogo dell'evento era la storica Piazza della Libertà di Kharkov, Ucraina, un luogo così grande che durante la seconda guerra mondiale veniva usato per far atterrare gli aerei. Più di 350.000 ucraini sono venuti a vederli suonare e più di 1o milioni di case hanno guardato lo spettacolo in diretta televisiva il 12 settembre 2008.
