Il film inizia raccontando le vicende che portarono gli Alteriani a lasciare la loro galassia per sfuggire agli Ori e trasferirsi nella nostra. Sia gli Alteriani che gli Ori avevano scoperto i segreti dell'ascensione, ma avevano forti ideologie contrapposte: gli Alteriani praticavano una politica di non intervento, mentre gli Ori si fecero venerare come dei, così da far accrescere il loro potere. Gli Ori però non erano sinceri con i loro sudditi, infatti promettevano l'ascensione a chi li venerava, ma non mantevano mai questa promessa. Con queste premesse la guerra fu inevitabile, e gli Alteriani furono sul punto di perdere. Idearono così un manufatto che avrebbe risollevato le sorti della guerra: un'arca che avrebbe fatto capire ai fedeli degli Ori le menzogne rifilateli dai loro falsi dei. Ma gli Alteriani, rispettando la loro regola di non-intervento, decisero di non usare l'arca e scappare nella nostra galassia, tenendone l'esistenza all'oscuro degli Ori.

Alla fine Tom, salito su un albero per catturare Jerry, viene inseguito da uno sciame di api e si rifugia in un laghetto, usando una canna di bambù per respirare. Le api però entrano nella canna di bambù, e Tom, dopo aver lanciato un urlo, esce dal lago e scappa via. Jerry, da lontano, lo colpisce con la pallina, come il gatto aveva fatto con lui poco prima.

Il ritorno dei pomodori assassini

Il film è ambientato 25 anni dopo gli eventi di Pomodori assassini (denominato la Grande Guerra del Pomodoro nel film). Questi ortaggi sono stati completamente banditi e molti sono ancora terrorizzati dall'esperienza. Uno scienziato pazzo, il Prof. Cancrena (che si scoprirà essere l'artefice dei pomodori del primo film) è intenzionato a conquistare il mondo mediante una speciale macchina in grado di mutare i pomodori in esseri umani. Tra le creazioni vi è Tara, volendone fare sua amante. Ma la donna fugge assieme a FT, un pomodoro peloso frutto di un errore genetico e maltrattato dal professore. Tara s'innamorerà di Chad, un ragazzo che consegna pizze e ignaro delle origini della donna, ma il Prof. farà di tutto per riaverla accanto e attuare il suo piano malvagio.
