In the thirties, two sisters separated by fate face prejudice and sexism, one by the high society in a big city and the other by a group of renegades in the countryside. The meeting between two young guys, Marcelo —in the future, Marcelo D2— and Skunk , who sold t-shirts and cassette tapes in the center of Rio de Janeiro to survive, resulted in one of the most popular bands in Brazil in the 1990’s, Planet Hemp. Suppressed by a prejudiced society, the two made of their music a cry of alertness and resistance, conquering the hearts and minds of an entire generation.

In 1960s Rio de Janeiro, aspiring writer Felipe leads a life of wild parties held in an apartment in famous street Barata Ribeiro in Copacabana. There he and his friends enjoy freedom even in the midst of a complicated political moment.

A Pelada

Frightened by the routine of marriage, a young couple of modest origin thinks they can revive the flame of their passion through new sexual experiences. Regrettably, the confrontation with their own taboos is going to complicate their relation, plunging them into the most absurd situations unless no fantasy can come true. The inevitable intimate revelations, which are made in the course of this exposure, are going to push the couple on the edge of the abyss.
