The two experienced comedians Torben Chris and Thomas Hartmann have often been accused of being male chauvinists - a baseless and unfair label... according to them. In response to the accusations, they decided in 2011 to create a show that would be what it would look like if the accusations were true. Adding mustaches and an obvious twinkle in their eye, the two comedians engage in almost two hours of complaining about women's monumental lack of logic, and it's very funny - even according to the countless women who watched the show live. Thus, www.funnyhaha.dk's (female) reviewer gave the show six stars. The show differs from the majority of stand-up shows in that Torben and Thomas are on stage together most of the time. This gives the show a special life in the form of dialog-based transitions and additions that arose as improvisation along the way. In addition to the show itself, which was recorded at Comedy ZOO in Copenhagen in October 2011, the DVD contains lots of extras.

Omar Marzouk - War, terror and other funny stuff

The show “War, terror and other funny things” by comedian Omar Marzouk played to full houses in Denmark in the spring of 2005 and more than 15,000 people saw the 90-minute show, which was immortalized on DVD in Det Ny Teater. It's controversial and hilarious, and there are plenty of extras. Since then, Omar has performed to packed houses at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the world's biggest comedy festival. The show was received with enthusiasm by both the audience and critics from several British newspapers. This fall, Omar performed three shows at the legendary London Soho Theater and has a major feature in Time Out, the biggest guide to London's entertainment scene. At a time when everyone is turning off the gas and saving electricity, it can be difficult to remain optimistic and hopeful for better times. But fear not! The renowned singing lodge Ørkenens Sønner (Sons of the Desert) has created a show that will blow all evil and gloomy thoughts out of the way. The heat hasn't been turned down, but the charm has been turned up! This time, the brave Loge brothers turn their gaze to sensual Paris. In a festive fireworks display of French temptations, historical and piquant scenes are performed, and as always with the awareness that it's all about keeping your finger on the pulse.

Christian Fuhlendorff - Outstanding

Now that all the boring and practical stuff is out of the way, I'll tell you a bit about the show. Well, I'm not going to tell you what the show is about. You'll have to go and see it. But I can tell you a bit about how it was recorded, because it's a bit different from what you're used to. Since my shows are often very different from night to night and since I've sat in an editing room with a recording and thought; “F*ck, sh*t, that joke was much better the last time I did it”, this time I made the decision to record the show in Horsens, Odense, Aarhus and Copenhagen and cut the 4 shows together into one. Whether it was a good decision, I'll leave it up to you to judge, I'm certainly very satisfied. So all I can say is, enjoy... that is, if you pick it up.

Simon Talbot: Optur

With the new show Optur, it's time to laugh and have a good time again, where Simon Talbot in his usual style transforms themes from his own life, such as hair loss, social media, cats, gaming, nose hair, Danish laws, the contrast of growing up with a Jehovah's Witness mother and Irish street boy father, married life, women's overly hot baths, and much much more, into jokes we can all laugh at. Over the past year, Simon has had stress reactions, spent too much time on social media, watched (way) too much Tiger King and acquired a sugar addiction, which he turns into a brand new Danish-language comedy show.

After a four-year break from the stand-up stage, Jonatan Spang is now returning to his roots with a new stand-up show. With ‘TYPICAL JONATAN SPANG’, he focuses on the whole world and not least himself with ordinary devilish violence, reprimanding observations and his sense of good timing.
