Following last year's large-scale tour Jonatan Spangs Familie, you now have the opportunity to see it on a smaller scale and in a more traditional format – a classic stand-up club night. Jonatan wants to return to his roots before returning to Nørrebro Teater to perform in the spring. The title, "Spark i løgsuppen" (Kick in the onion soup), is taken from a statement made by Pia Kærsgaard earlier this year. She said that she would like to be Minister of Culture and, in that connection, was very critical of many prominent Danish artists.

Omar Marzouk - War, terror and other funny stuff

The show “War, terror and other funny things” by comedian Omar Marzouk played to full houses in Denmark in the spring of 2005 and more than 15,000 people saw the 90-minute show, which was immortalized on DVD in Det Ny Teater. My newest (and actually best) one-man show. The show is about money, women, drugs, and a whole lot more. It's a slightly more personal show than the others, but still wrapped in silliness, a touch of satire and a lot of stupid attitude. It was recorded January 2020 at the Bremen Theater in Copenhagen in front of an awesome audience. I'm pretty damn happy with the result, the mood, the expression, and the little frame story, so I hope you'll enjoy it.

Christian Fuhlendorff - Outstanding

Now that all the boring and practical stuff is out of the way, I'll tell you a bit about the show. Well, I'm not going to tell you what the show is about. You'll have to go and see it. But I can tell you a bit about how it was recorded, because it's a bit different from what you're used to. Since my shows are often very different from night to night and since I've sat in an editing room with a recording and thought; “F*ck, sh*t, that joke was much better the last time I did it”, this time I made the decision to record the show in Horsens, Odense, Aarhus and Copenhagen and cut the 4 shows together into one. Whether it was a good decision, I'll leave it up to you to judge, I'm certainly very satisfied. So all I can say is, enjoy... that is, if you pick it up.
