After a near-death experience lights a flame within both Grandma and Grandpa, they decide to grab life by the boas and tell the world their deepest secret: they’re gay. Having lived under the guise of a straight relationship for decades, they’re coming out of the closet, ditching their small-town life, and going after their big gay dreams. First stop, the big city, to learn “how to be gay” from the best gay people they know – their grandchildren. Navigating the queer dating scene, dating apps, queer fashion, and even a gay dodgeball league, this late-in-life coming out story is all about being empowered to love authentically no matter your age.

Three Tidy Tigers Tied a Tie Tighter

Isabella, Jonata and Pedro are stuck at home for a weekend. Distressed by the state of the world and financial difficulties, the trio decides to go out on the streets of a dystopian São Paulo to relax, which allows them to meet many individuals in a similar situation, causing tragicomic and fantastic situations.

Infinity

Infinity was made apart of an independent study at Ohio University. Every person who worked on this film, aside from one of our actors, is a student at Ohio University and has worked on bringing this story to life since October 2022. Set in 2016, Infinity follows the story of two drastically different teenage girls who experience the pressures of growing up and falling in love far too fast. This film is the broad outline for a much larger story, one we hope to continue in the future if given the opportunity!

Through subtleties in the dialogues and the silence, social conventions and the responsibility of being the guardian-protector of something precious, the film evokes conceptions of the masculine within a queer childhood.

Sofia Was

As enigmatic as an oracle, the original Portuguese title evokes the impermanence and ambiguity that haunt Sofia. She is carried away by perpetual motion, her future forever unknown.

In This Moment

“In This Moment” is the story of a transwoman named Love, who is polyamorous and trying to navigate the world around her identities by coming to terms with how she deserves and needs to be loved in a world where her existence is an act of protest. “In This Moment" teaches us that love is like the ocean. It is different in every pattern and location it exists.
