During the World Ski Championships, hundreds of thousands of people were in Holmenkollen. A great many of them used the Holmenkollbanen to get out into the fields and arenas. When the Holmenkoll Railway was opened in 1898, it was the Nordic region's first suburban railway; today the line is part of Oslo's subway network and transports permanent residents and tourists to Holmenkollen and Frognerseteren. Now you get an orchestra seat for the tour - minute by minute. The recordings were made on Saturday - before the women's three-mile race.

An old widower, Jasper, routinely makes coffee in two mugs and picks up trash around his community. Some of his more interesting finds speckle his home. His neighbors mostly disregard him. On one of his regular hunts, he chances upon an envelope. To his surprise, he finds old wedding photos and presumes the addressee, Angie, to be the bride. Richard Doty is a former Air Force Intelligence operative whose job at Kirtland AFB in New Mexico involved creating and disseminating disinformation about the existence of extraterrestrial spacecraft to UFO researchers. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Kirtland AFB was home to a wide range of highly classified technology experiments involving lasers, stealth aircraft, and nuclear weapons. Strange phenomena in the skies above the base piqued the interest of amateur and professional UFO investigators.
