Hans Teeuwen is a successful comedian, jazz singer and a staunch defender of free speech. Nowadays he plays his unique comedy shots only in the UK, where he gets a great response and fantastic reviews plus he was the recipient of a 2008 Chortle Award. Here, finally, is a chance for Dutch audiences to see Hans Teeuwen's first new comedy show in five years, and the first show in English for the rest of the world: Hans Teeuwen Live in London!

Bumbling R&D inventors Bruce and Lloyd get out of the lab and into the field as they search to locate their latest invention - which has somehow gone missing. This documentary thus unveils a darker side of India, far from its portrayal as the world's largest democracy and Gandhi's dream of peace among communities.

The Circus

In the vestibule of a hospital room, a young boy waits to see his dying mother. The clamor and spiralling movements of bodies around him intensify, forming a grotesque circus—a cacophonous circle that pushes the child back, depriving him of one final touch of his mother's hand. Using rotoscoped drawings suggestive of charcoal sketches, as well as 3D and object animation techniques, The Circus compels viewing with its unsettling realism. Colour is employed metaphorically to subtly express the promise and the memory of maternal affection. Nicolas Brault's highly personal film, suffused with poetic modesty, casts a poignantly sincere gaze on the heartbreak of a child facing the fearful, mysterious experience of his mother's death.

Crazy Racing

Sloan is a teenager who is passionate about racing cars. Doug, his dad, doesn't like the idea of his son becoming a race car driver. To avoid disappointing his father, Sloan hides his passion and focuses on what is expected of him: his studies and helping run the family business. He does have a crush on his classmate Angela. To impress her, he sneaks out and takes her on an adventure in his dad's ice cream van, during which they get into an accident and the van is badly damaged. Luckily, Angela escapes with only a few bruises, but Sloan ends up with a mild concussion and new ability to predict certain situations before they happen. Angela's Uncle Mitch is able to repair the van; he also teaches Sloan a thing or two about driving. They were once racing partners. Doug was the number one racer until he was set up by Scar, another driver who still runs his own race team. Sloan decides that he will do whatever it takes to win back a title that rightfully belongs to his family.

Hans Teeuwen: Dat dan weer wel

Mind you is the fourth theater of the Dutch comedian Hans Teeuwen. He performed the show in 2001. The last show was filmed in 2002 and aired on television, the same year that the show on CD and DVD published. It's Teeuwen's most famous and most frequently quoted show. He takes everything on the heel, including racism, blacks, world religions, AIDS patients, women, Jostiband and the Queen of the Netherlands.

Alex Agnew: Ka-Boom!

Back in 2003, Alex Agnew was the first Belgian to win the prestigious 'Leids Cabaret Festival' in The Netherlands. He was the winner in both categories: Jury and public. The GSCF jury was not pleased with the quality of the contestants that year, and gave Maassen the first prize, remarking he was the best of the year, but still not very good. In the following years, however, Maassen fame grew steadily, especially amongst students. Maassens style was based on stand-up comedy: Alone on stage, telling jokes and stories to amuse the public, without any musical support (a thing common for most Dutch comedians up to that point).
