Survivor Series (2005) was the 19th annual Survivor Series PPV. It was presented by NovaLogic's Delta Force: Black Hawk Down and took place on November 27, 2005 at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan and featured wrestlers from the Raw and SmackDown! brands. The first of the main events was an interpromotional 5-on-5 Survivor Series match, a type of elimination match, between Team SmackDown! (Batista, Rey Mysterio, John "Bradshaw" Layfield (JBL), Bobby Lashley, and Randy Orton) and Team Raw (Shawn Michaels, Kane, The Big Show, Carlito, and Chris Masters). The other main event was a standard wrestling match between wrestlers from the Raw brand, in which WWE Champion John Cena defended his title against Kurt Angle. Another match was a Last Man Standing match between Triple H and Ric Flair.

WrestleMania, sequentially known as WrestleMania I, was a 1985 professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE). It was the inaugural WrestleMania and took place on March 31, 1985, at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. The attendance for the event was 19,121. The event was seen by over one million viewers through closed-circuit television, making it the largest PPV showing of a wrestling event on closed-circuit television in the United States at the time.

Over the Limit (2011) was a PPV, which took place on May 22, 2011 at the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington. It was the second Over the Limit event. The main event was an I Quit match for the WWE Championship between defending champion John Cena and The Miz. Hell in a Cell (2010) was a PPV that took place on October 3, 2010 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. It was the second annual Hell in a Cell event. Like the 2009 event, the event featured the Hell in a Cell match. The main event featured Kane defending the World Heavyweight Championship against The Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell match. Randy Orton also had to defend his title, the WWE Championship, in a Hell in a Cell against Sheamus. In a special stipulation match, Wade Barrett fought John Cena with the caveat that Cena would join the Nexus if he lost and The Nexus would disband if Barrett lost. Daniel Bryan defended the US Championship in a triple threat submissions count anywhere match against The Miz and John Morrison.

Bragging Rights (2010) was a PPV that took place on October 24, 2010 at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The primary match of the evening was a 14-man interpromotional elimination tag match for 'ragging right' between the two brands. Smackdown was represented by Big Show, Mysterio, Swagger, Alberto Del Rio, Edge, Tyler Reks, and Kofi while Team raw was composed of The Miz, R-Truth, Shaemus, Santino, John Morrison, CM Punk, and Ezekiel Jackson. The main event was a singles match for the WWE Championship with Randy Orton defending the title against Wade Barrett with the stipulation that if Barrett lost, John Cena would be fired. A second main event was a Buried Alive match for the World Heavyweight Championship between defending champion Kane and The Undertaker.
