WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs 2013

TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs was a professional wrestling PPV which took place on December 15, 2013, at the Toyota Center in Houston. The main event was a title unification match between Randy Orton and John Cena in a TLC match for the WWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championship. The titles were hung above the ring with the winner (the first to retrieve them) winning the newly dubbed WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Also on the car was a 3 on 1 Handicap match between the Wyatt Family & Daniel Bryan, The Miz vs Kofi Kingston in a No DQ match, R-Truth vs Brodus Clay, Big E Langston defending the Intercontinental Championship against Damien Sandow, AJ Lee defending the Divas Championship against Natalya, CM Punk vs The Shield in a 3 on 1 Handicap match, and a Fatal Fourway Tag Team Elimination match for the WWE Tag Team Titles between defending champs Cody Rhodes & Goldust and The Real Americans, Big Show & Mysterio, and Ryback & Curtis Axel.

The Staten Island-based, independent professional wrestling outfit Warriors of Wrestling made its way back to Brooklyn Saturday evening with its "Women of Warriors V" event held at St. Finbar Catholic Church in Bath Beach. The promotion featured its top female talent, and the action didn't disappoint.

Addams will also defend the belt against Madison Rain on August 12 after a recent meeting with Hellen Vale back on July 8. Aja Perera and Taeler Hendrix will debut in the promotion in New York, while various matches were announced like Perera against Vanity, Nyla Rose against Holidead and Davienne against Skylar. Willow Nightingale will team up with C-Bunny to fight Aria Cadenza and Terra Calaway. Allie Recks has also been announced; she is likely to fight with Hendrix, who does not yet have an opponent. Stardom New Years Stars Tag 3 (Evening Show)

On the final stop before the 8th Anniversary show, Stardom presented its strongest booked show on the New Years Wars tour. Starting the show with a crazy brawl definitely set the tone for the rest of the night. There's not a single bad match on this card (the opener served its purpose) and the main event was an outstanding contest. Highly recommended show.

It stands out for being simply wrestling, in fact they still do not have titles, and as its name says, it is usually done in a bar (this is done in a theater). Stardom Queen's Fest

Stardom's events can almost always be split in half as their show structure is very predictable. Their undercard suffers due to the fact they have so many young wrestlers and they don't leave wrestlers off cards if they are healthy. So you're always going to get the rookie match and the big gaijin tag match, that's life in the Stardom World. But once you get past that, Stardom has some truly amazing wrestlers that would blow the roof off any building in the world if given the chance. Both title matches here delivered, not only in execution but they also left the stories open so no one will be left behind - the stories of Tam Nakano and Momo Watanabe will continue to grow. Whether you watch it on Stardom World or find the Samurai TV version, the second half is certainly worth tracking down, particularly the main event

WSU Mutiny

Whether or not Jessicka Havok is still the WSU World Champion following “Secret Show” #3, she will face Alpha Female for the very first time on 2/8/14! After Alpha Female was unexpectedly added to the “Mutiny” lineup, fans bombarded WSU Management with messages demanding this international dream match. We have gone out of our way to accommodate these requests. Because of Shanna’s cooperation, WSU Management has agreed to reward Portugal’s Perfect Athlete by letting her hand-pick her new opponent for “Mutiny.” Shanna will now team with Chris Dickinson against Candice LeRae and Joey Ryan in an intergender tag team match that will have major implications on May’s “Queen and King of the Ring” Mixed Tag Team Tournament.

WSU Power

Since DJ Hyde took over the reigns of WSU, the show has severely declined in quality due to booking. WSU has reached its lowest point in the anniversary show with unnecessary overbooking in every corner and more bizarre choices than ever before. We find ourselves three months after this ignominy with Power, a show where starts a tournament to crown a new Spirit champion after Nevaeh abandoned the title on injury (it will probably be explained) and whose main event is Cherry Bomb against LuFisto for the title.

WSU Spirit Champion Niya comes to the ring and talks herself up for a bit. Nevaeh's music hits and she comes out and the pair exchange words. Nevaeh warns Niya that if she continues to run her mouth she'll have a serious problem on her hands. They stare each other down, and Niya exits with her title.

Ice Ribbon New Ice Ribbon #902 ~ Ryogoku KFC Ribbon

As I mentioned at the top, this was a rough spot for them. It was a perfectly fine match but it had little chance of being better than the two matches that came before it as while both have a lot of spunk they aren't on the same level as Nakajima, Fujimoto, Sakura, etc. Yuuka in particular is still growing, seems like a bit of a stretch to put her in the main event of their biggest show but they must see a lot in her down the road. The emotion was there by the wrestlers and Sera has gotten a mean streak recently, but the transitions were shaky and I never brought into Yuuka having a chance of winning. Solid and fun, but that is about as far as it went.

Oz Academy

While working in the Gaea Japan promotion in mid-90s, Ozaki formed the villainous Oz Academy stable with Chikayo Nagashima, Rieko Amano and Sugar Sato, eventually opening a training school under the same name. After taking the summer off, WSU returned to present the Queen and King of the Ring 2017 Tournament from the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ. This was WSU's final event in the venue. NXT TakeOver XXV is a professional wrestling show and WWE Network event produced by WWE for their NXT brand. It took place on June 1, 2019, at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut. It was the twenty-fifth event under the NXT TakeOver chronology.

Twelve matches were contested at the event, including three on the "Zero Hour" pre-show. In the main event, Swerve Strickland faced off against Samoa Joe to for the AEW World Championship.

The Wrestler

With good guidance from director Zeki Okten but an uninspired script, this story of a brother and his Turkish family influenced by old and new traditions is somewhat uneven. Bilal (Tarik Akan) is devoted to the art of wrestling, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, who were both champions at the sport. Aside from his interest in wrestling for its own sake, Bilal has a chance to win a provincial wrestling contest and thereby bring home a considerable cash award for his efforts -- and so his days are spent in training for the event. Meanwhile, his brother and sister-in-law and their daughter have come back home after living in Germany for 12 years and are finding the adjustment to their cultural roots a bumpy ride. WWE Backlash 2023

The 2023 Backlash is the upcoming 18th Backlash professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and live streaming event produced by WWE. It will be held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. The event will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico, marking the first WWE event held in Puerto Rico since New Year's Revolution in 2005, and only the second event overall. After the previous two years were titled "WrestleMania Backlash", the 2023 event reverted to its original name, but maintained its post-WrestleMania concept, with the 2023 event based around the backlash from WrestleMania 39. Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny will serve as the host of the event.

The 2023 Night of Champions is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and live-streaming event produced by WWE. This will be the 10th Night of Champions event, the first since the 2015 event, and the first to live stream on Peacock. The event will be held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions and will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at the Jeddah Super Dome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It will be the ninth event that WWE will hold in Saudi Arabia under a 10-year partnership supporting Saudi Vision 2030. Originally known as the King and Queen of the Ring as its 12th event since 2002, the WWE renamed the event on April 13, 2023, to coincide with the 1,000-day reign of Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
