Elizabeth at 90: A Family Tribute

A unique celebration of the Queen's ninety years as she reaches her landmark birthday in April. Film-maker John Bridcut has been granted special access to the complete collection of Her Majesty's personal ciné films, shot by the Duke of Edinburgh and the Queen herself, as well as by King George VI and Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. Much of it has never been seen publicly before. Various members of the Royal Family are filmed watching this private footage and contributing their own personal insights and their memories of the woman they know both as a member of their own close family and as queen. A

Roughly chronological, from 3/96 to 11/96, with a coda in spring of 1997: inside compounds of Aum Shinrikyo, a Buddhist sect led by Shoko Asahara. (Members confessed to a murderous sarin attack in the Tokyo subway in 1995.) We see what they eat, where they sleep, and how they respond to media scrutiny, on-going trials, the shrinking of their fortunes, and the criticism of society. Central focus is placed on Hiroshi Araki, a young man who finds himself elevated to chief spokesman for Aum after its leaders are arrested. Araki faces extreme hostility from the Japanese public, who find it hard to believe that most followers of the cult had no idea of the attacks and even harder to understand why these followers remain devoted to the religion, if not the violence.

Extreme Rules was a PPV presented by WowWee's Paper Jamz, which took place on May 1, 2011 at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, Florida. It was the third Extreme Rules event. The main event was a Triple Threat Steel Cage match for the WWE Championship with The Miz defending the title against John Cena and John Morrison. Another main event was a Ladder match for the vacant World Heavyweight title between Christian and Alberto Del Rio. The undercard featured a Lumberjack match for the WWE tag team Championship between The Corre and Big with Kane, Mysterio fought Cody Rhodes in a Falls Count Anywhere match, Sheamus defended the US Championship in a Tables match against Kofi Kingston, and Randy Orton wrestled CM Punk in a Last Man Standing match.

Lost in Wrestling

Female Mongolian wrestler, Na Ren, was invited to participate in a women’s wrestling show in Japan. The show host, Boss, instantaneously changed the competition to mud wrestling and Na Ren was forced to compete. Later on, Na Ren discovered that Boss was actually her childhood playmate, Chi Na Si, who was banned from Sumo wrestling five years ago. Knowing that Boss had deceived her, Na Ren was nonetheless determined to awaken his consciousness and good heart through love.

WWE WrestleMania VIII was the eighth annual WrestleMania. It took place on April 5, 1992 at the Hoosier Dome in Indianapolis, Indiana. The only WrestleMania officially recognized by WWE.com to have featured more than one headlining match, its card included two equally-promoted main events. In the first, WWF Champion Ric Flair defended his title against Randy Savage, and in the second, Hulk Hogan faced Sid Justice. As a consequence of the double main event, WrestleMania VIII carried two taglines: "The Macho/Flair Affair!" and "Friendship Torn Apart!" Notable matches on the undercard included WWF Intercontinental Champion Roddy Piper defending against Bret Hart, and WWF Tag Team Champions Money Inc. defending against The Natural Disasters.

WWE WrestleMania IX

WWE WrestleMania IX was the ninth annual WrestleMania.. The event took place at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 4, 1993 and was the first WrestleMania event held outdoors. WrestleMania IX was built around two main storylines. The first was the seemingly unstoppable Yokozuna challenging Bret Hart for the WWF Championship, a right he earned by winning the 1993 Royal Rumble. The other major storyline was the return of Hulk Hogan, who had departed the WWF following WrestleMania VIII but returned to team with Brutus Beefcake against the WWF Tag Team Champions, Money Inc. Several reviewers have been critical of the event. The most frequent criticism has been related to the match between The Undertaker and Giant Gonzalez, Hulk Hogan's win, and the Roman togas worn by announcers. Both the pay-per-view buyrate and the attendance for the event dropped from the previous year's WrestleMania.

The main event from the Raw brand was a title unification match, where World Heavyweight Champion Triple H fought WWE Intercontinental Champion Kane . Rebellion (2002) took place on October 26, 2002 at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. The main event featured Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman defending Lesnar's WWF Championship in a Handicap match against Edge. Los Guerreros challenged Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit for the Tag Team Championship belts, Rikishi fought Albert, Reverend Devon and Ron Simmons fought Val Venis and Chuck Palumbo , and several other matches filled out the undercard.

WWE Armageddon 2002

Armageddon (2002) was the third Armageddon PPV. It was presented by Lugz and took place on December 15, 2002 at the Office Depot Center in the Ft. Lauderdale suburb of Sunrise, Florida and featured talent from the Raw and SmackDown! brands. The main match on the Raw brand was a Three Stages of Hell match for the World Heavyweight Championship between champion Shawn Michaels and Triple H. The first match was a Street Fight, the second match was a Steel cage match, and the third and final match (if necessary) was a Ladder match. The predominant match on the SmackDown! brand was The Big Show versus Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship. Royal Rumble 2016 was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by WWE. It took place on January 24, 2016 at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. It was the 29th event under the Royal Rumble chronology and the first WWE pay-per-view of 2016. This was the fifth Royal Rumble to be held in the state of Florida after the 1990, 1991, 1995 and 2006 editions. The event took place on January 24, 1988 from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, NY. WCW Capital Combat: The Return of Robocop was a one time professional wrestling PPV event from the NWA held under the WCW name. It took place on May 19, 1990 from the D.C. Armory in Washington, D.C.. It featured a promotional crossover with the upcoming release of RoboCop 2, with RoboCop appearing during the PPV. The main event was Ric Flair versus Lex Luger in defense of Flair's NWA Heavy Weight Championship. NJPW & WCW Collision In Korea

Collision in Korea was the largest professional wrestling pay-per-view event ever that was jointly produced by World Championship Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling. It took place over a period of two days on April 28 and 29, 1995, but did not air in North America until August 4, 1995, when WCW broadcast a selection of matches from the show on pay-per-view. The event was the first PPV from a North American wrestling promotion to be held in North Korea. The main event was Ric Flair versus Antonio Inoki.
