WWE WrestleMania 22

WrestleMania 22 was the twenty-second annual WrestleMania PPV. It was presented by Snickers and took place on April 2, 2006 at the Allstate Arena in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois. The main match on the Raw brand was John Cena versus Triple H for the WWE Championship. The predominant match on the SmackDown! brand was a Triple Threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship between Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio, and Randy Orton. Featured matches on the undercard included a No Holds Barred match between Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon, a Casket match between The Undertaker and Mark Henry, a WWE Women's Championship match between Mickie James and Trish Stratus and an interpromotional Money in the Bank ladder match featuring six participants. Tickets sold out in under two minutes, grossing US$2.5 million for the event, making it the highest grossing one-day event at the Allstate Arena. More than 17,155 people attended, with millions more watching in more than 90 countries.

WWE SummerSlam 2007

SummerSlam (2007) was the twentieth annual SummerSlam PPV. It was presented by THQ's Stuntman Ignition. It took place on August 26, 2007 at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey and featured talent from each of WWE's three brands: Raw, SmackDown, and ECW. The main feud, heading into the event from the Raw brand was between John Cena and Randy Orton. From SmackDown, the predominant feud was between The Great Khali and Batista. After Khali defeated Batista and Kane in a Triple Threat match, a match between three wrestlers contested under standard rules, Theodore Long booked Khali to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Batista at SummerSlam. The primary feud from ECW was between John Morrison and CM Punk. By defeating Morrison in a 15 Minutes of Fame match, Punk became the number one contender to the ECW Championship at SummerSlam.

The main event was The Mega Powers (Hulk Hogan & Randy Savage) versus The Alliance to End Hulkamania (an 8 man team that included Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Meng, The Barbarian, Lex Luger, The Taskmaster, Z-Gangsta, and The Ultimate Solution) in a Doomsday Cage match. Survivor Series was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by WWE. It took place on November 24, 2013 at the TD Garden in Boston, and is the twenty-seventh annual Survivor Series show. The main event was a singles match for the WWE Championship with Randy Orton defending against Big Show. A secondary main event was John Cena defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Alberto Del Rio. Other matches included The Wyatt Family vs CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry vs Ryback, Big E Langston defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Curtis Axel, and two traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team matches. The first was The Shield and The Real Americans versus The Usos, Rey Mysterio, Cody Rhodes, and Goldust while the second was Team Total Divas versus Team "True" Divas.

WWE Royal Rumble 2016

Royal Rumble 2016 was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by WWE. It took place on January 24, 2016 at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. It was the 29th event under the Royal Rumble chronology and the first WWE pay-per-view of 2016. This was the fifth Royal Rumble to be held in the state of Florida after the 1990, 1991, 1995 and 2006 editions. It was the second Royal Rumble in Orlando since 1990 and the first pay-per-view event at Amway Center since it opened in 2010.

WWE Vengeance 2003

Vengeance (2003) was a PPV presented by Eidos Interactive's Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness blockbuster, which took place on July 27, 2003 at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. It was the third annual Vengeance event and starred wrestlers from the SmackDown brand. The main event was a No DQ Triple Threat match for the WWE Championship, in which WWE Champion Brock Lesnar defended the title against Kurt Angle and The Big Show. Two featured bouts were scheduled on the undercard. In a singles match WWE Chairman Vince McMahon fought Zach Gowen and The Undertaker fought John Cena. Vengeance had an attendance of approximately 9,500 and received about 322,000 pay-per-view buys. This event helped WWE increase its pay-per-view revenue by $6.2 million from the previous year.

WWE No Mercy 2003

No Mercy (2003) was a PPV presented by Subway, which took place on October 19, 2003 at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. It was the sixth event under the No Mercy chronology and starred wrestlers from the SmackDown! brand. The main event saw WWE Champion Brock Lesnar defend his title against The Undertaker in a match where a chain was hung from a pole and the first man to reach it could use it as a legal weapon in what was called a Biker Chain match. Two featured bouts were scheduled on the undercard. In a singles match for the WWE United States Championship, the Big Show challenged Eddie Guerrero for the title. The other was also a singlesmatch, in which Kurt Angle fought John Cena.

WWE Armageddon 2003

Armageddon (2003) was the fourth Armageddon PPV. The event, presented by Square Enix's Final Fantasy X-2, took place on December 14, 2003 at the TD Waterhouse Centre in Orlando, Florida and was a Raw brand-exclusive event. The main event was a Triple Threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship between Kane, Triple H, and champion Goldberg. One of the predominant matches on the undercard was the defense of the WWE Intercontinental Championship by Rob Van Dam against Randy Orton. Another primary match on the undercard was Batista versus Shawn Michaels. The event grossed $450,000 with 9,000 ticket sales and received 200,000 pay-per-view buys. The event was claimed to be a "flop" by Canadian Online Explorer's professional wrestling event section. They rated the overall event a six out of ten.

WWE Backlash 2004

Backlash (2004) was the sixth annual Backlash PPV. It was presented by Square Enix's Drakengard. It took place on April 18, 2004 at the Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta and was a Raw brand-exclusive event. The main event was a Triple Threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship involving reigning champion Chris Benoit, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels, which Benoit. One of the predominant matches on the card was Randy Orton versus Cactus Jack in a Hardcore match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Orton won the match and retained the title after pinning Cactus following an RKO. Another primary match on the undercard was Edge versus Kane, which Edge won by pinfall after executing a spear.

WWE Judgment Day 2004

Judgment Day (2004) was the sixth Judgment Day PPV. This event was presented by PlayStation and took place on May 16, 2004 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. The main event was for the WWE Championship between Eddie Guerrero and John "Bradshaw" Layfield (JBL). Uncensored 1997 took place on March 16, 1997 from the North Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, South Carolina. The concept of Uncensored was that each match on the card was ostensibly unsanctioned, meaning they were not subject to the normal rules of WCW-sanctioned wrestling matches. NJPW & WCW Collision In Korea

Collision in Korea was the largest professional wrestling pay-per-view event ever that was jointly produced by World Championship Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling. It took place over a period of two days on April 28 and 29, 1995, but did not air in North America until August 4, 1995, when WCW broadcast a selection of matches from the show on pay-per-view. The event was the first PPV from a North American wrestling promotion to be held in North Korea. The main event was Ric Flair versus Antonio Inoki. SuperBrawl Revenge took place on February 18, 2001 from the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. This was the last Superbrawl event and the penultimate WCW pay-per-view before the WWF purchased WCW in March 2001. Along with SuperBrawl IV, it was one of only two SuperBrawls never released on home video. Backlash (2006) was a PPV which took place on April 30, 2006 at the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. It was presented by Topps. It was the 11th and final annual Unforgiven event, starring wrestlers from the Raw, SmackDown, and ECW brands. The main event of the pay-per-view was the Championship Scramble from the Raw brand. It was originally scheduled to feature World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk defending his title; he was replaced by Chris Jericho after Randy Orton attacked CM Punk. The Championship Scramble from the ECW brand featured ECW Champion Mark Henry defending the title. The SmackDown brand's Championship Scramble saw WWE Champion Triple H defend his championship. No Mercy (2008) was a PPV which took place on October 5, 2008 at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon. It was the 11th and final annual No Mercy event and starred wrestlers from the Raw, SmackDown and ECW brands. The first main event featured World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho defending his championship from Shawn Michaels in a ladder match. The other main event featured defending WWE Champion Triple H versus challenger Jeff Hardy in a singles match. Three featured bouts were scheduled on the undercard. In a singles match between Batista fought John "Bradshaw" Layfield for the chance become the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. Another singles match had the The Undertaker versus Big Show. The third was a singles match for the ECW Championship, in which the champion Mark Henry challenged champion Matt Hardy.

Cyber Sunday (2008) was the fifth and final Cyber Sunday (the third under this name) PPV. It took place on October 26, 2008 at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona. It featured wrestlers from the Raw, ECW, and SmackDown brands. Stone Cold Steve Austin was the special guest referee as Chris Jericho defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Batista. Triple H defended the WWE Championship against Jeff Hardy in a singles match. The Big Show and The Undertaker competed in a Last Man Standing match while the Santino Marella defended his Intercontinental Championship against a fan vote between Honky Tonk Man, Roddy Piper, or Goldust. Matt Hardy defended the ECW Championship against Evan Bourne and Rey Mysterio fought Kane in a fan voted match.

WWE Survivor Series 2008

Survivor Series (2008) was a PPV that took place on November 23, 2008 at the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, It was presented by THQ's WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009. The event, the 22nd Survivor Series, featured talent from WWE's all three brands, Raw, SmackDown and ECW. The main event was for the World Heavyweight Championship between John Cena, and the champion, Chris Jericho. Another match on the event was the SmackDown main event, which saw Edge, Vladimir Kozlov, and the champion Triple H, in a Triple Threat match for the WWE Championship. The undercard matches included The Undertaker versus The Big Show in a Casket Match and three five-on-five elimination tag team matches.

WWE Armageddon 2008

Armageddon (2008) was a PPV presented by Ubisoft's Prince of Persia. It took place on December 14, 2008 at the HSBC Arena in Buffalo, New York. It featured professional wrestlers and other talent from all WWE's three brands: Raw, SmackDown and ECW. It was the ninth and final event within the Armageddon chronology.
