Final Battle was a professional wrestling pay-per-view produced by American promotion Ring of Honor (ROH). It took place on December 11, 2021 at the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. The event was the 20th under the Final Battle chronology, and was billed as "The End of an Era", as it was the last Ring of Honor event to be held before the company goes on a hiatus, expecting to resume operations in April 2022.

Backlash (2006) was a PPV which took place on April 30, 2006 at the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. It was presented by Topps. It was the eighth event under the Backlash name and featured wrestlers and other talent that performed on the Raw brand. All In (2018), promoted by Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks, was a landmark independent wrestling event held on September 1, 2018, at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Featuring talent from NJPW, ROH, CMLL, Impact, AAA, MLW, and the NWA, it drew over 10,000 fans, becoming the first U.S. wrestling event outside of WWE or WCW to do so since 1993, and its success led directly to the launch of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in January 2019.

It was the 11th and final annual Unforgiven event, starring wrestlers from the Raw, SmackDown, and ECW brands. The main event of the pay-per-view was the Championship Scramble from the Raw brand. It was originally scheduled to feature World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk defending his title; he was replaced by Chris Jericho after Randy Orton attacked CM Punk. Cyber Sunday (2008) was the fifth and final Cyber Sunday (the third under this name) PPV. It took place on October 26, 2008 at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona. It featured wrestlers from the Raw, ECW, and SmackDown brands. Stone Cold Steve Austin was the special guest referee as Chris Jericho defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Batista. Triple H defended the WWE Championship against Jeff Hardy in a singles match. The Big Show and The Undertaker competed in a Last Man Standing match while the Santino Marella defended his Intercontinental Championship against a fan vote between Honky Tonk Man, Roddy Piper, or Goldust. Matt Hardy defended the ECW Championship against Evan Bourne and Rey Mysterio fought Kane in a fan voted match.

WWE Survivor Series 2008

Survivor Series (2008) was a PPV that took place on November 23, 2008 at the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, It was presented by THQ's WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009. The event, the 22nd Survivor Series, featured talent from WWE's all three brands, Raw, SmackDown and ECW. The main event was for the World Heavyweight Championship between John Cena, and the champion, Chris Jericho. Another match on the event was the SmackDown main event, which saw Edge, Vladimir Kozlov, and the champion Triple H, in a Triple Threat match for the WWE Championship. The undercard matches included The Undertaker versus The Big Show in a Casket Match and three five-on-five elimination tag team matches.

WWE Armageddon 2008

Armageddon (2008) was a PPV presented by Ubisoft's Prince of Persia. It took place on December 14, 2008 at the HSBC Arena in Buffalo, New York. It featured professional wrestlers and other talent from all WWE's three brands: Raw, SmackDown and ECW. It was the ninth and final event within the Armageddon chronology. During the SmackDown main event, WWE Champion Edge defended the title against Triple H and Jeff Hardy in a Triple Threat match. The Raw main event featured the World Heavyweight Championship contested in a singles match between champion John Cena and Chris Jericho. The undercard featured several matches, including CM Punk against Rey Mysterio in the finals of a tournament to determine the number-one contender to the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and Randy Orton versus Batista in a standard wrestling match.

WWE Backlash 2009

Backlash (2009) was a PPV that took place on April 26, 2009, at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island. The 11th and final event under the Backlash banner, it featured talent from all three WWE brands: Raw, SmackDown, and ECW. The event's card featured seven matches. The main event consisted of a Last Man Standing match for the World Heavyweight Championship, in which Edge competed against John Cena. The other main match scheduled on the event's card was a Six-Man Tag Team match for the WWE Championship between Triple H (champion), Batista and Shane McMahon, and The Legacy (Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase). Other matches included an "I Quit" match between Jeff and Matt Hardy and three singles matches: Christian versus Jack Swagger for the ECW Championship, followed by CM Punk versus Kane, and Chris Jericho versus Ricky Steamboat.

WWE Extreme Rules 2009

Extreme Rules (2009) was a PPV which took place on June 7, 2009 at the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana and was presented by AT&T. It was the first event promoted under the Extreme Rules name, and initially noted by WWE to be a direct continuation of the One Night Stand chronology. It featured talent from the Raw, SmackDown, and ECW brands. The main event was a Ladder match for the World Heavyweight Championship, which saw Jeff Hardy challenge reigning champion Edge. There were also two other highly-publicized matches; the first was a steel cage match for the WWE Championship between the champion Randy Orton and Batista, as well as a submission match between The Big Show and John Cena. Featured matches on the undercard included a No Holds Barred match between Rey Mysterio and Chris Jericho for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, CM Punk versus Umaga in a Samoan Strap match and a Triple Threat Hardcore match for the ECW Championship.

WWE The Bash 2009

The Bash was a PPV presented by Gillette's Fusion Power, which took place on June 28, 2009 at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, California. This was the sixth show in WWE's production lineage for The Great American Bash event (twentieth overall) and the only one to be referred to as The Bash. Two title defenses included a 3 Stages of Hell match for the WWE Championship featuring Triple H and Randy Orton and the World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk defending against Jeff Hardy. John Cena fought The Miz in their first official matchup, ECW Champion Tommy Dreamer defended his title against Christian, Jack Swagger, Finlay, and Mark Henry in a Championship Scramble match, Chris Jericho wagered the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Rey Mysterio's mask, Dolph Ziggler versus The Great Khali in a No Disqualification match, The Colóns defended the WWE Tag Team Championship against The Legacy and Edge and Chris Jericho, and Michelle McCool challenged Melina for the WWE Women's Championship.

Night of Champions (2009) was a PPV which took place on July 26, 2009 at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Insurrextion (2001) took place on May 5, 2001 at Earls Court in London, England. The main event was a handicap match with The Undertaker facing Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H. In a Queen's Cup match, Chris Jericho faced William Regal. Chris Benoit fought Kurt Angle in a two out of three falls match. There was also a Fatal Four-Way Elimination match between The Hardy Boyz, Edge & Christian, The Dudley Boyz, and X-Factor.

WWE Judgment Day 2001

Judgment Day (2001) was a professional PPV presented by RC Cola. It was the third such annual event and took place on May 20, 2001 at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, California. The main event was Steve Austin defending the WWF Championship against The Undertaker in a No Holds Barred match. Two featured bouts were scheduled on the undercard. In a Chain match, Triple H defended the WWF Intercontinental Champion against challenger Kane. The other featured bout was a two out of three falls match, which saw Kurt Angle compete against Chris Benoit with Kurt Angle's Gold Medal on the line.

King of the Ring (2001) was the ninth annual King of the Ring PPV. It was presented by Mars' Combos and took place on June 24, 2001 at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The main event was a Triple Threat match involving Chris Benoit, Steve Austin and Chris Jericho for the WWF Championship. The undercard featured the 2001 King of the Ring tournament. Other matches on the undercard included a Street Fight between Kurt Angle and Shane McMahon, a WWF Light Heavyweight Championship match between champion Jeff Hardy and challenger X-Pac and a WWF Tag Team Championship between champions Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von) and the challenger team of Kane and Spike Dudley.

The Magnificent Brute

A love triangle forms the basis of this drama. It all begins in a steel mill when a steel worker ignores the besotted gazes of his landlady at the boarding house and falls in love with a gold-digger. His best friend also finds himself smitten by the seductive young woman. But when the one of the workers fritters away a collection that had been taken up for the wife of a deceased co-worker on a foolish bet, he and the vamp take off until the good-hearted landlady intervenes and convinces them to stay and take their lumps.

The main event was a Triple Threat that saw The Rock, Triple H, and Shane McMahon compete for the WWF Championship, Eddie Guerrero defended the European Championship against Chris Jericho, Edge & Christian defended the Tag Team Championships from The Hardy Boyz. Crash Holly defended his WWF Hardcore title against The British Bulldog (In the Bulldog's final PPV appearance), and 6 more matches filled out the under card.

Judgment Day (2000) was the first annual Judgment Day PPV. It was presented by 3DO's Army Men: World War and took place on May 21, 2000 at the Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky. The main event was an Iron Man match for the WWF Championship and featured Triple H facing The Rock with Shawn Michaels as the special guest referee. Featured matches on the undercard included a double tables match featuring D-Generation X (Road Dogg and X-Pac) defeating The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von). The other featured match on the undercard was a Submission match for the WWF Intercontinental Championship between Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho, which Benoit won to retain the championship.

WWE King of the Ring 2000

King of the Ring (2000) was the eighth annual King of the Ring PPV. The event was presented by Subway and took place on June 25, 2000 at the Fleet Center in Boston, Massachusetts. The main event was a six-man tag team match between McMahon-Helmsley Faction (Triple H, Vince and Shane McMahon) and the team of The Rock, Kane and The Undertaker. Triple H's WWF Championship was defended in the match. The undercard featured the 2000 King of the Ring tournament. The 2000 edition was the largest King of the Ring tournament, with 32 competitors taking part.

The main event was a Triple Threat match for the WWF Championship involving champion The Rock, Triple H, and Kurt Angle. One of the predominant matches on the undercard was Kane versus The Undertaker. Survivor Series (2000) was the fourteenth annual Survivor Series PPV. It was presented by 3DO's Warriors of Might and Magic and took place on November 19, 2000 at the Ice Palace in Tampa, Florida. The main event was a No NQ match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H which spilled to the backstage area. The undercard featured Dudley Boyz and Hardy Boyz versus Edge and Christian and Right to Censor in a four-on-four Survivor Series elimination match, Kurt Angle versus The Undertaker for the WWF Championship, Ivory versus Lita for the WWF Women's Championship, The Rock versus Rikishi, William Regal versus Hardcore Holly for the WWF European Championship, Kane versus Chris Jericho, The Radicalz versus D-Generation X in a four-on-four Survivor Series elimination match and Steve Blackman, Crash Holly and Molly Holly versus T & A and Trish Stratus in a Six Person Mixed Tag match.

WWE Armageddon 2000

Armageddon (2000) was a professional wrestling PPV that took place on December 10, 2000, at the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center in Birmingham, Alabama. It was the second annual Armageddon event, and the only WWE pay-per-view event ever to be held in the state of Alabama. The main event match of Armageddon 2000 was a six-man Hell In A Cell match for Kurt Angle's WWF Championship. New Year's Revolution (2005) was the first annual New Year's Revolution PPV. It took place on January 9, 2005 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The main event was an Elimination Chamber match for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship between Triple H, Randy Orton, Batista, Edge, Chris Jericho, and Chris Benoit. WWE Backlash 2001

Backlash (2001) was a PPV presented by Castrol GTX. It took place on April 29, 2001 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, and was the third event under the Backlash chronology. The main event was a tag team match for the WWF Championship, the WWF Intercontinental Championship, and the WWF Tag Team Championship between The Two Man Power Trip (Steve Austin and Triple H) and the Brothers of Destruction (Kane and The Undertaker), in which the person to get the fall would win the Tag Team Championship as well as the championship of the wrestler who was pinned. Taboo Tuesday (2004) was a PPV presented by AT&T which took place on October 19, 2004 at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was the first annual Taboo Tuesday event, marking the first time in which the fans were given the chance to vote on stipulations for the matches. The voting for the event started on October 18, 2004 and ended during the event. The event starred wrestlers from the Raw brand. The main event was a Steel cage match, which is fought in a cage with four sheets of mesh metal around, in, or against the edges of the wrestling ring, in which Randy Orton competed against Ric Flair. Two bouts were featured on the undercard. In respective singles matches, World Heavyweight Champion Triple H defended against challenger Shawn Michaels and Gene Snitsky fought Kane in a Weapon of Choice match.

The event featured wrestlers and other talent from WWE's SmackDown! brand. The main event was a Fatal-Four Way match for the WWE Championship involving champion John "Bradshaw" Layfield (JBL), Booker T, Eddie Guerrero and The Undertaker. One of the predominant matches on the undercard was The Big Show versus Kurt Angle, Mark Jindrak and Luther Reigns in a Handicap match. Another primary match on the card was John Cena versus Jesús in a Street Fight for the WWE United States Championship.

The main event from the SmackDown! brand was a rematch from WrestleMania X8 between Hulk Hogan and The Rock. The main event from the Raw brand was a World Heavyweight Championship match between Triple H and Scott Steiner. The main match on the undercard from Raw, was the encounter of Steve Austin and Eric Bischoff, while the main match on the undercard from SmackDown! was a Six-man Tag Team match between the team of Team Angle (Kurt Angle, Charlie Haas, and Shelton Benjamin) and the team of Brock Lesnar, Edge, and Chris Benoit, where Edge was unable to participate in the match due to injury.

Judgment Day (2003) was a PPV presented by Clearasil that took place on May 18, 2003, at the Charlotte Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was the fifth annual WWE Judgment Day event and featured wrestlers from the Raw and SmackDown! brands. The first match from the SmackDown! brand featured WWE Champion Brock Lesnar's title defense against The Big Show in a Stretcher match. The second match from the Raw brand was between Kevin Nash and World Heavyweight Champion Triple H. Three matches were featured on the undercard. The first match featured Women's Champion Jazz defending against Victoria, Jacqueline. and Trish Stratus in a Fatal Four-Way Match for the title. The next was a Battle Royal featuring Christian, Val Venis, Chris Jericho, Lance Storm, Test, Rob Van Dam, Kane, Goldust and Booker T for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. The final was between the team of Eddie Guerrero and Tajiri, and the team of Team Angle in a ladder match for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

WWE Insurrextion 2003

WWE Insurrextion (2003) took place on June 7, 2003 at the Telewest Arena in Newcastle, England, UK. The Main event was a Street Fight between Triple H (with Ric Flair) and Kevin Nash (with Shawn Michaels), with loads of match ups including Jazz defended the WWE Women's Championship in a divas match against Trish Stratus.

WWE Bad Blood 2003

Bad Blood (2003) was a PPV presented by Maxim Hair Color, which took place on June 15, 2003 at the Compaq Center in Houston, Texas. It starred wrestlers from the Raw brand and marked the beginning of PPVs (other than the big 4) being brand exclusive. The main event was a Hell in a Cell match, featuring World Heavyweight Champion Triple H defending against Kevin Nash. Two predominant bouts were featured on the undercard; in respective singles matches, Ric Flair fought Shawn Michaels and Goldberg fought Chris Jericho. The event marked the second time the Hell in a Cell format was used by WWE in a Bad Blood event. The 2003 Bad Blood event grossed over $500,000 ticket sales from an attendance of 10,000 and received about 285,000 PPV buys.. This event helped WWE increase its yearly pay-per-view revenue by $6.2 million from the previous year. When the event was released on DVD, it reached a peak position of second on Billboard's DVD Sales Chart.

Two featured bouts were scheduled on the undercard. In a singles match WWE Chairman Vince McMahon fought Zach Gowen and The Undertaker fought John Cena. Vengeance had an attendance of approximately 9,500 and received about 322,000 pay-per-view buys. This event helped WWE increase its pay-per-view revenue by $6.2 million from the previous year.

The main event saw WWE Champion Brock Lesnar defend his title against The Undertaker in a match where a chain was hung from a pole and the first man to reach it could use it as a legal weapon in what was called a Biker Chain match. Two featured bouts were scheduled on the undercard. In a singles match for the WWE United States Championship, the Big Show challenged Eddie Guerrero for the title. The other was also a singlesmatch, in which Kurt Angle fought John Cena.
