WrestleMania XX was the twentieth annual WrestleMania . It took place on March 14, 2004 at Madison Square Garden in New York. The main match for the Raw brand was a Triple Threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship between champion Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Chris Benoit. The main match for the SmackDown! brand featured Eddie Guerrero versus Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship. The event featured the return of The Undertaker, who challenged Kane. Also on the card was a match between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar with Stone Cold Steve Austin as the special guest referee. WrestleMania XX was the third WrestleMania at Madison Square Garden but the fifth to take place in the New York metropolitan area (following WrestleMania I, WrestleMania 2, WrestleMania X and Wrestlemania 29). The event grossed US$2.4 million in ticket sales, making the Pay-Per-View the highest grossing event ever for WWE at Madison Square Garden. More than 20,000 people attended the event.

WWE WrestleMania 21

WrestleMania 21 was the twenty-first annual WrestleManiaPPV. It was presented by Snickers and took place on April 3, 2005 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. The main match on the Raw brand was Triple H versus Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship. The predominant match on the SmackDown brand was John "Bradshaw" Layfield versus John Cena for the WWE Championship. Another primary match was an interpromotional match between The Undertaker versus Randy Orton. The featured matches on the undercard were Kurt Angle versus Shawn Michaels and a Money in the Bank ladder match. The event also featured the return of Stone Cold Steve Austin who started his part-time appearances with WWE at this event. The event drew a Staples Center record attendance of 20,193 people and grossed more than $2.1 million in ticket sales.

The main event was the annual 30-man Royal Rumble match, which featured wrestlers from both brands. The primary match on the Raw brand was Triple H versus Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship. The primary match on the SmackDown! brand was a Triple Threat match for the WWE Championship between reigning champion John "Bradshaw" Layfield, Kurt Angle, and The Big Show.

WCW Capital Combat: The Return of Robocop was a one time professional wrestling PPV event from the NWA held under the WCW name. It took place on May 19, 1990 from the D.C. Armory in Washington, D.C.. It featured a promotional crossover with the upcoming release of RoboCop 2, with RoboCop appearing during the PPV. The main event was Ric Flair versus Lex Luger in defense of Flair's NWA Heavy Weight Championship. It was the third Starrcade event produced by WCW, and the last PPV event held by the NWA. It took place on December 16, 1990 from the Kiel Auditorium in St. Louis, Missouri. The main event was a steel cage match between Sting and The Black Scorpion for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Other matches included a Street Fight between Doom and the team of Arn Anderson and Barry Windham for the NWA World Tag Team Championship, and a Texas Lariat match between Stan Hansen and Lex Luger for the NWA United States Heavyweight Championship. WCW WrestleWar 1991: WarGames took place on February 24, 1991 from the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix, Arizona. This was the first PPV after WCW left the NWA. Over the Limit (2010) was a PPV presented by Axe Hair, which took place on May 23, 2010 at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. It was the first event promoted under the Over the Limit name. In the main event from the Raw brand, John Cena faced Batista for the WWE Championship, while The Big Show versus World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger was the main event from the SmackDown brand. The card featured two main events which resulted in Rob Van Dam defending the WWE Championship against Edge and D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels) fighting the Spirit Squad (Kenny, Johnny, Mitch, Nicky, and Mikey) in a 5-on-2 Handicap match. One bout was featured on the undercard. In which John Cena competed against Sabu in an Extreme lumberjack match, which featured superstars from the Raw and ECW brands at ringside.

WCW Starrcade 1991

Starrcade '91: Battlebowl: The Lethal Lottery was the ninth annual Starrcade professional wrestling pay-per-view event. It was the fourth Starrcade event produced by WCW, and it took place on December 29, 1991 from the Norfolk Scope in Norfolk, Virginia. The event solely featured the Battlebowl battle royal and its qualifying matches. Forty wrestlers were chosen at random to form ten pairs of tag teams. Each pair competed in a match, and the winning team advanced to Battlebowl. This was the first Starrcade event to not feature Ric Flair.

A second main event was Sting defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Big Van Vader.

WCW Halloween Havoc '92

WCW Halloween Havoc '92 took place on October 25, 1992 from the Philadelphia Civic Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The main event was Jake Roberts versus Sting in a Spin The Wheel...Make The Deal Match. A second main event was a title defense of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship by Ron Simmons against The Barbarian. Steve Williams and Terry Gordy were to challenge the NWA & WCW Wold Tag Team Champions, Barry Windham and Dustin Rhodes, however Gordy no-showed the event which led to Steve Austin subbing for him. Another substitution occured when Rick Rude chose not to wrestle twice and defend his WCW US Heavyweight Championship. This led to Big Van Vader defending Rude's title against Nikita Koloff.

WCW Starrcade 1992

Starrcade '92: Battle Bowl II: The Lethal Lottery took place on December 28, 1992 from The Omni in Atlanta, Georgia. The main event was the Battle Bowl Battle Royale for the Battle Bowl Ring. The final match for The King of Cable tournament was also held during this PPV featuring Sting vs Big Van Vader. Other matches included The Great Muta defending the NWA World Heavyweight Championship against Masahiro Chono, Ron Simmons defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Steve Williams, and Shane Douglas with Ricky Steamboat defending the NWA & WCW World Tag team Championships against Barry Windham and Brian Pillman.

WCW The Great American Bash 1991

The Great American Bash (1991) took place on July 14, 1991 at the Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. The card was originally to be highlighted by a Steel cage match between Ric Flair and Lex Luger for the WCW World title. Two weeks before the show, WCW Executive VP Jim Herd fired Flair over a contract dispute, stripping him of the title. Flair took possession of the WCW World title and brought it to the World Wrestling Federation with him. A new belt could not be readied in time for the event, so the company was forced to improvise. A Championship Wrestling title belt that was in the possession of Dusty Rhodes was used and a metal plate with "WCW World Heavyweight Champion" was attached to the front. The main event ended up being WCW US Champ Lex Luger vs Varry Windham for the WCW World Title. On the undercard was a match featuring Steve Austin & Terry Taylor versus Bobby Eaton & P.N. News in a Capture-The-Flag scaffold match, which was Austin's first PPV match.

WCW Fall Brawl 1993

WCW Fall Brawl '93: War Games took place on September 19, 1993 from the Astro Arena in Houston, Texas. The main event was a WarGames match featuring the team of Sting, Davey Boy Smith, Dustin Rhodes, and The Shockmaster versus Sid Vicious, Vader, and Harlem Heat (Kole & Kane). The WCW International World Heavyweight Championship was defended by Ric Flair against Rick Rude while the WCW World Tag Team Championships were defended by Arn Anderson & Paul Roma against The Nasty Boys. Other matches included Yoshi Kwan vs Cactus Jack, Shanghai Pierce vs Ice Train, 2 Cold Scorpio & Marcus Bagwell against The Equalizer and Paul Orndorff, and Rick Steamboat defending the WCW TV Championship against Lord Steven Regal.
