Omar Marzouk - War, terror and other funny stuff

The show “War, terror and other funny things” by comedian Omar Marzouk played to full houses in Denmark in the spring of 2005 and more than 15,000 people saw the 90-minute show, which was immortalized on DVD in Det Ny Teater. It's controversial and hilarious, and there are plenty of extras. Since then, Omar has performed to packed houses at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the world's biggest comedy festival. The show was received with enthusiasm by both the audience and critics from several British newspapers. This fall, Omar performed three shows at the legendary London Soho Theater and has a major feature in Time Out, the biggest guide to London's entertainment scene. Jonatan Spang: Spark i Løgsuppen

Following last year's large-scale tour Jonatan Spangs Familie, you now have the opportunity to see it on a smaller scale and in a more traditional format – a classic stand-up club night. Jonatan wants to return to his roots before returning to Nørrebro Teater to perform in the spring. The title, "Spark i løgsuppen" (Kick in the onion soup), is taken from a statement made by Pia Kærsgaard earlier this year. She said that she would like to be Minister of Culture and, in that connection, was very critical of many prominent Danish artists.

About not letting your opinions be dictated by others and about how some people cannot claim ownership of a word or a definition. It is about there being room to be bad at something and that it is perfectly okay. In the spring of 2017, you can experience Zulu Comedy Galla Talent Award winner Ane Høgsberg in her debut one-woman show for the first time. She will be accompanied by a surprise warm-up act, which (without giving too much away) proves that the stand-up industry is not made up of white, oppressive men, but is actually full of supportive and good colleagues who can recognize talent when they see it and are always willing to back it up and, well, well, warm up for one of the new stars in the Danish stand-up firmament.

My newest (and actually best) one-man show. The show is about money, women, drugs, and a whole lot more. It's a slightly more personal show than the others, but still wrapped in silliness, a touch of satire and a lot of stupid attitude. It was recorded January 2020 at the Bremen Theater in Copenhagen in front of an awesome audience. I'm pretty damn happy with the result, the mood, the expression, and the little frame story, so I hope you'll enjoy it.
