Jim Douglas (Dean Jones) deve partecipare al rally di Montecarlo, accompagnato dal fido meccanico Wheely Applegate (Don Knotts) e alla guida del maggiolino Herbie. La gara si svolge tra Parigi e Montecarlo.Si tratta della prima gara di Douglas in dodici anni, quindi vuole arrivare primo. Questo rally attraverso la Francia è chiaramente una rivitazione del più famoso rally di Montecarlo, e si svolge tra il 1976 e il 1977, anche se nel film non viene specificata nessuna data precisa. Herbie è una delle 18 macchine che partono per la competizione. In realtà il numero di macchine che partecipa alla corsa è il doppio di quelle menzionate nel film, anche se il numero preciso è tuttora in discussione. In una storia parallela, due ladri di gioielli, Max (Bernard Fox) e Quincey (Roy Kinnear), rubano il famoso diamante Etoile de Joie e li nascondono nel serbatoio della benzina di Herbie.

The Song of the Tree

The Small Town depicts life in the village, while also portraying the relationships between members of a small-town family, in a long centerpiece scene around a campfire with family members talking about the past, life and its disappointments. Both brother and sister witness the complexities and darkness of the adult world, as well as the mysteries of nature and wildlife.

Colpito a morte, Klove resuscita dalle ceneri il suo padrone Dracula, grazie al sangue dell'inglese. Il conte trasforma in vampiro la moglie dell'ucciso e tenta altrettanto con l'altra coppia. Riusciti a fuggire i due trovano rifugio in un convento ma Dracula non intende lasciarli scappare. Alla fine Dracula muore annegando dentro un lago ghiacciato, intanto Alan e Diana trascorrono una vita tranquilla grazie a padre Sandor.

L'invitto
