White Ant

The threat of public exposure drives a closeted fetishist’s life into peril, setting a catalyst that will change the lives of those around him.

Benavidez’s Case

During his entire existence, art teacher Benavidez has been living in the shadow of his formidable father, a famous artist who constantly reminded his son of his lack of talent and vision. Even more painful is that the love of his life, one of his ex-students, reveals herself to be a gifted artist. To some she’s even considered to be the true successor to Benavidez’s father. It’s no wonder that this creates tensions and after a devastating lovers quarrel, Benavidez puts all his artworks into a big case and, having nowhere else to go, drags it to his shrink. The man specializes in treating creative spirits and even has an artist’s colony in the basement of his huge mansion. As part of their therapy, his patients produce artworks that get sold for lucrative prizes at auctions organized by the psychiatrist himself. When he looks at what’s inside the case of Benavidez, he realizes that the son has finally surpassed his father.

Filming 'The Trial'

In 1981, Welles gave a 90-minute question-and-answer session at the University of Southern California after a screening of The Trial. He had his cinematographer Gary Graver film the session with a view to editing highlights of the footage into the projected film. Graver observed, "A lot of people were there in the audience that day who are successful filmmakers now", as well as several noted film critics such as Joseph McBride and Todd McCarthy. However, Welles never got round to editing the raw footage. Its only use in Welles' lifetime was by BBC journalist Leslie Megahy for his 1982 Arena documentary on Welles. The documentary features a young man asking Welles whether he would agree he has been persecuted by The Establishment and the capitalist system, and Welles being somewhat bemused by the question.

Suraj

This is a story about two brothers. The older brother is a police officer, and the younger brother, whose name is Suraj — is a regular truck driver. There is a Gulf of misunderstanding between them, as is often the case between brothers, and Suraj's Affairs are always wrong in the eyes of the elder. But if the older one has problems, the younger one is willing to die to protect his brother's reputation. And so, independently of each other, the two brothers try to meet each other halfway. But how difficult this path is!
