Siamo in piena emergenza Coronavirus. Un quarantenne, per paura di essere infettato dagli anziani genitori, vive rinchiuso in un tinello, in compagnia di uno schermo di computer, di una maschera antigas e della sua collezione di dvd, fra cui alcuni classici horror. Teme che il virus trasformi tutte le persone infettate in zombies, e si tiene sempre a portata di mano una mazza da baseball. "Mamma, se sarai infettata anche tu, io ti spaccherò la testa con questa, ma solo perché ti voglio bene", le dice, in uno dei dialoghi separati dalla porta a vetri sul corridoio. Scopriremo che il nostro protagonista soffre di psicosi, di allucinazioni. È convinto che fuori dalla porta di casa non ci sia un virus, ma un gas chimico rilasciato dagli americani.

Les Misérables

This feature drama, produced to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Fuji TV, is an adaptation of Victor Hugo's classic masterpiece Les Miserables set in the 1990s in Japan. In Kobe in 1993, Jun Baba gets taken to a juvenile prison due to a killing of a man who cheated his mother out of all her money in self-defense. One day, he hears that his younger brother, who has been desperately ill, is in a critical condition and breaks out. However, he finds out his brother is already dead. In the depth of despair, he tries to kill himself but is saved by a man who runs a self-support facility. He begins to live at the place, and befriends with Takumi Watanabe aspiring to be a lawyer. In 1995, the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake hits and their friendship comes to an end. Crushed under the debris, Takumi persuades Jun to live his life instead. Jun swears to live on assuming Takumi's identity.

During the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) and the Second World War (1939-1945), around three thousand people managed to elude their pursuers, and probably also avoided being killed, thanks to the heroic and very efficient efforts of the Ponzán Team, a brave group of people — mountain guides, forgers, safe house keepers and many others —, led by Francisco Ponzán Vidal, who managed to save their lives, both on one side and the other of the border between Spain and France.
