Un avvincente lungometraggio fantascientifico che unisce lo stile del mockumentary alla grande Storia del '900, raccontando una ingegnosa vicenda sui viaggi nel tempo. 1940: le sorelle Thom e Mars costruiscono una macchina, LOLA, che intercetta i programmi radio e TV dal futuro, permettendo loro di ascoltare grandi hit prima ancora di essere incise, piazzare scommesse infallibili e abbracciare le loro anime punk. Con l’arrivo della seconda guerra mondiale, le sorelle decidono di utilizzare le informazioni dal futuro per aiutare l’intelligence militare che riesce a cambiare le sorti dell’ascesa nazista.

Rose Hepburn, a young actor working in horror movies, returns to her empty hotel. Forced to use the old freight elevator, it jolts to a halt on the twelfth floor, leaving her trapped with an unusual stranger. Left with no mobile phone signal as a storm approaches, tensions escalate and suspicions rise when Rose discovers the identity of the mysterious man is Daniel Reed, a camera operator on her latest movie, who is seemingly obsessed with her. As the elevator hangs precariously high about to plunge down at any minute, some harsh truths and actions start unfolding.

Ambra (Vanessa Incontrada) è una ex infermiera, ora prostituta “in proprio”. Regina (Elena Cotta) è una pensionata cardiopatica dai guizzi rivoluzionari. Remo (Francesco Pannofino), un panettiere pavido e aggressivo. Nabil (Jonis Bascir) è un venditore siriano saggio. Il commissario (Alessandro Haber) e la negoziatrice Anna (Eleonora Ivone) devono risolvere la situazione. Questo mix umano si ritrova intrappolato in una situazione tragicomica, dove il gioco si fa sempre più imprevedibile.
