Broken Promise

Slovakia, on the eve of the outbreak of World War II. The family of the young Jewish Martin Friedmann gathers to celebrate his bar mitzvah and make a solemn promise that they will all meet again a year later around the same table; but the storms of war and anti-Semitic fanaticism will lead each of them down very different paths.

Ardara

Macià decides to visit Ireland following a route that his parents did 20 years ago. Bruna and María seek a place to escape and disconnect. Their trips intersect in Ardara, Donegal County, where they share the last summer days. A summer that ends abruptly where Europe ends. ARDARA reconstructs their journey through what the people who saw them tell us. The film is the portrait of all three and that of the people who knew them. A story that reflects on the very fact of telling stories.

Incarnation

Sister Talia, about to take her perpetual vows, learns of her friend Thuy's death and discovers that another friend, Trang, is possessed by a demon. Using her ability as a medium, Talia exorcises the demon and helps Detective Oh investigate a series of chain suicides. They uncover that Thuy's mother, Chao, a shaman from Vietnam, uses a curse called "Go" to drive people to suicide. When Talia learns Chao plans to pass the curse onto Thuy's daughter Jin, she decides to sacrifice herself by taking the curse into her own body. As she prepares for her fate, Talia is confronted with an unexpected truth.

Massacre at Noon

In Autumn of 1941, the German army, determined to put down a Communist-led uprising in Serbia, is conducting a policy of killing 100 hostages for any German soldier killed. The city of Kraljevo is the site of one of those massacres, portrayed in this movie.

The boys buy a uranium mine out west, but when they get there they find that it's pretty much worthless. However, the local badmen are distrustful of these new strangers, and when they mistakenly get the impression that the mine is loaded with uranium, they hatch a scheme to get rid of the boys and take over the mine.

While her husband is on his way to the market, a peasant woman is raped and murdered. Her widower carefully plans his revenge.

1973: dopo tre album incisi in poco meno di un lustro (The Stooges, Fun House e Raw Power), un'esperienza devastante di live e una dipendenza da stupefacenti che ne compromise le performance, la band statunitense The Stooges interruppe il proprio percorso, evitata come la peste dalle case discografiche per le scarse vendite e per un performer scandaloso, esibizionista, rettiliano: Iggy Pop. La loro importanza di band sperimentatrice, per il sound ipnotico, sporco, disturbante, emergerà gradualmente negli anni. Considerati "spazzatura" diventeranno oro nell'era iconoclastica del punk: testi ai minimi termini, ripetizione di pochi accordi base, esecuzione approssimativa, programmatica sgradevolezza.
