Le Grandi Nord Delle Alpi: Pizzo Badile

Una via ideata e aperta da Riccardo Cassin e che ha avuto come primo salitore in solitario Hermann Buhl non può essere altro che una pietra miliare nella storia dell'alpinismo: specie se si sviluppa lungo una delle grandi pareti Nord delle Alpi, come la Nord-Est del Pizzo Badile. Hansiörg Auer, ripercorre la leggendaria avventura di Buhl: in bicicletta da Innsbruck attraverso il Passo Maloja fino in Val Bondasca, oltre 200 chilometri, per salire la via Cassin, aperta nel 1937 con una grande e tragica salita. In quel 1952 Buhl la ripeté da solo, in poco più di 4 ore, per poi fare ritorno a Innsbruck, sempre in bicicletta, pedalando per tutta la notte, in modo da potersi presentare puntuale al lavoro.

Pellirosse alla frontiera

Tennessee, 1838. Polly Crockett, the daughter of the legendary hero Davy Crockett of Alamo, and makes a living from hunting in the forests. These forests are still inhabited by the Indians. Most of them live in peace but some of them are negatively affected by white traders. One day Polly, who is accompanied by her faithful Indian friend Neshoba, goes to the town to sell her hides. Polly meets Catawampus Jones. Jones and his father fought in the Alamo too. Indians influenced by Prewitt, an employee of a hide company, and Redbud, are killing settlers and burning down their homes. Polly's house is destroyed too and her maid Birdie, Neshoba's mother, is killed.

Antropomorph

The Selva del Camp is in danger. Two anthropomorphic animals have appeared in the town, and they are causing disasters without mercy. The town's residents will try to do everything possible to stop them, but will they be able to put an end to the anthropomorphic threat?

Treblinka's Last Witness

Samuel Willenberg and Kalman Taigman, the last two survivors of the Nazi extermination camp Treblinka, recount the horrors they experienced during the war and talk about their lives after their escape in a prisoner uprising in 1943. Willenberg would go on to become a hero of the 1944 Warsaw uprising while Taigman would be called as a witness during the infamous trial of Adolf Eichmann.

Ghost of the Mirror

Adapted from a Tang Dynasty fantasy tale, Sung Chuen-sau used the story of a scholar meeting a female ghost at night, but emphasised neither the killing nor horror but the literary and romantic elements. Scholar Chan (Shih Chun) stays in a remote mansion outside the city. People often fall into the mansion’s well for no apparent reason. Chan looks into it. Later, he sees the girl from the well, Susu (Brigitte Lin), waving to him. She begins to wait on him nightly. Susu was from a wealthy family, but was running away from bandits during wartime, and committed suicide by jumping into the well rather than be caught. After her death, her spirit was controlled by Du Long (Pai Lin). Du Long has forced her many times to harm Chan, but she never has the heart to carry it through. Chan’s pity for her soon becomes love. He goes into the well to retrieve an old bronze mirror, and eventually succeeds in freeing Susu. In the end, to rescue Chan, Susu fights with Du Long and they destroy each other.

Pirates of the Prairie

In one of his better early Westerns, Tim Holt, as Deputy Marshal Larry Durant, is sent to Spencerville where a gang of vigilantes has been terrorizing the citizenry. Going undercover as a gunsmith, Larry quickly learns that the leader of the vigilantes, John Spencer (John Elliott), is an honest man who only seeks to establish law and order. The real brains behind the crimes, meanwhile, are revealed to be Spencer's brother-in-law, Lou Harmon (Roy Barcroft), and his chief henchman, Leighton (Charles King), who speculate in the coming of the railroad by forcing the townspeople to relinquish their land.

There is great excitement at the Würzburg TV station TV-Frankenwarte: Irmi Werner, the well-known host of the gossip talk show "MainGespräch" disappears after recording a program. Irmi, who is not only popular with the rich and beautiful of the Main-Franconian metropolis, is initially only missed by her son. Soon after, body parts of her turn up scattered all over the city. Chief Inspector Rabe and his colleagues are faced with a mystery, because no body is found - is Irmi still alive in the end and being held mysteriously hostage? But there are also other problems: Rabe's friend Strick has to make sure that his old nanny "Omma Zürrlein" does not lose her apartment. She is being evicted from her apartment by a real estate shark who senses a lot of money in the construction of student apartments.
