Paperino dispone, nel giardino di casa sua, un villaggio in miniatura e si diverte con il suo piccolo convoglio a girare in loco. Un albero, però, ostruisce il passaggio ed il papero decide di volerlo rimuovere poiché "fuori misura" rispetto ai modelli disposti in giardino; nell'albero vi soggiornano Cip & Ciop e tentano immediatamente di riprenderselo. Dopo un inseguimento, i due scoiattoli si nascondono in una delle casette, la trovano accogliente e decidono di stanziarsi temporaneamente li. Paperino li ritrova e si mette subito a fargli scherzi di ogni tipo; Cip se ne accorge e, facendo distrarre Paperino, ne approfitta con Ciop nel recuperare l'albero e posizionarlo in mezzo ai binari. I due scoiattoli propongono a Paperino di far simulare l'albero come una Sequoia gigante in miniatura, il papero accetta e si allontana continuando la sua routine in giardino, mentre i due scoiattoli festeggiano allegri sull'albero.

Quando la pipa del vecchio scivola in acqua attraverso la botola che collega il suo piano a quelli sottostanti, lui pensa dapprima di acquistarne una nuova, ma poi preferisce comprare l'occorrente per immergersi e andarla a cercare. L'attrezzatura da sub permette al vecchio di ripercorrere la propria vita: ogni stanza in cui scende lo porta indietro con la memoria ai momenti di famiglia vissuti nel corso degli anni. Scendendo fino al fondale su cui è costruita la casa, il vecchio non recupera soltanto la pipa, ma anche il calice con cui beveva la sua giovane moglie: tornato in superficie, l'uomo consuma la sua solita cena, ma versando il vino in due calici.

Tom e Jerry in Grecia

Nell'Antica Grecia Tom tenta ripetutamente di catturare Jerry, felice abitante di una tana situata in una pinacoteca. Così Tom decide di entrare nella pinacoteca nuovamente e, senza farsi scoprire, continua a dare la caccia a Jerry, fallendo tutti i suoi piani miseramente. Nel finale il narratore dell'episodio spiega agli spettatori che anche nell'Antica Grecia si urlava, cosa che viene intuita con una breve sequenza che mostra Tom strillare e fuggire dalla pinacoteca prima che la scritta "Fine" appaia.
