La straordinaria fuga dal campo 7A

Prigioniero di guerra, nello zoo di Monaco Stephen Brooks deve curarsi di Lucy, un'elefantessa, e le si affeziona a tal punto che, avutane l'occasione, rinuncia a fuggire. Dovendo trasferire Lucy a Innsbruck, Stephen viaggia con due militari e una giovane cuoca. Lungo la strada, Brooks sopprime un soldato della scorta che minacciava di uccidere Lucy, poi decide di raggiungere la Svizzera valicando i monti insieme all'animale.
