The Rolling Stones: Live from Paris 1995

In November of 1995, the Rolling Stones released the acclaimed album 'Stripped,' their second release on the Virgin Records label after 1994's 'Voodoo Lounge.' The concept for 'Stripped,' a studio/live hybrid album with stripped-down instrumentation, was conceived as a kind of response to 'MTV Unplugged' while the band was on their big-scale 1994/1995 world tour in support of 'Voodoo Lounge.' A total of four stripped-down concerts were held at small venues in Amsterdam, Paris and London, and recorded for the album 'Stripped.' The concert that was released under the title "Live from Paris 1995" on DVD and SD Blu-ray as part of the 2016 'Totally Stripped' deluxe boxed set took place on July 3, 1995 at the Paris Olympia, a venue with a capacity of about 2000. Three songs from this intimate concert were included on the original 'Stripped' album, namely "Shine a Light," "Let It Bleed" and "Angie."

The winner will take the company and the loser must become the other’s valet for a year. But when Hobbs loses, he sends his wife to Florida and schemes to trick Horton. What follows are hilarious hijinks as only Wheeler and Woolsey can pull off!

Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyoon Aata Hai

'Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyun Ata Hai' revolves around the Pintos and the people connected to them. There's Albert who's pretty much angry at everybody. His brother Dominic who thinks it's better to be jobless than to work an underpaid job, his patient sister Joan who works at a sari shop, his independent girlfriend Stella who feels under-appreciated by her boyfriend, his father and his colleagues, client and Stella's family. The film is very much a social commentary about Middle-class life in Bombay during the late ’70s and the conflicts arising in the labour force because workers were getting severely underpaid.

Blood Spilled at Takadanobaba

The tale of Nakayama Yasubei’s duel is famous, even if he in reality probably did not cut down 18 opponents. The story has been related in film, rakugo, kodan and on stage many times, in part because Nakayama later joined the famous 47 Ronin (Chushingura) as Horibe Yasubei. But Makino and Inagaki’s version gives no hint of this more serious future, playing up the thrills and the comedy with Bando’s bravura performance. The multiple pans of Yasubei running to the duel are an exemplar of the experimental flourishes of 1930s Japanese cinema and the final duel, performed virtually like a dance number, is a marker of Makino’s love of rhythm and one of the best sword fights in Japanese film history. The film was originally released under the title Chikemuri Takadanoba (Bloody Takadanobaba) with a length of 57 minutes, but suffered some cuts and a title change when it was re-released in 1952.

Passing Flickers

The main characters - the arrogant, harassed director, the sexy starlet, or naïve actors are familiar enough stereotypes. Along the way however, there is some fun to be had as more humorous incidents occur on the sound stage, together with dashes of nudity. Some of the events are presumably inspired by real life experiences, others have a distinct air of wishful fabrication. The over-the-top Kung Fu star, deserted by director and crew as he goes through his pointless extended routine, for instance. Or the action heroes, sweating in furs while they dutifully munch through their meal scene, 'snow' falling outside in studio land.

I Love Me

Ram Mohan, an eminent businessman in Bangkok, has discovered that his business empire and personal life are in danger. To save himself, he hires two small-time crooks from India to murder a person.

Rollerball

Jonathan Cross, appassionato degli sport estremi, viene reclutato da Alexi Petrovich per far parte della sua nuova invenzione: il Rollerball. Jonathan accetta e impara le linee guida: i giocatori corrono su pattini, cercando di prendere una pesante sfera metallica per lanciarla poi in un alto canestro. Ci sono poi dei motociclisti che interagiscono coi giocatori. A parte questo non esistono regole. Durante la sua carriera rapidamente in ascesa, Jonathan sperimenta sulla sua pelle ciò che ha scoperto Alexi: il sangue rende lo spettacolo più interessante per l'audience. Così, Alexi comincia a corrompere i membri delle diverse squadre, per aumentare la tensione sul campo più del necessario, mentre il pubblico è in delirio. Royal Rumble 2014 è il ventisettesimo evento annuale di pay-per-view di wrestling di Royal Rumble prodotto dalla WWE. Si svolgerà il 26 gennaio 2014 presso il Consol Energy Center di Pittsburgh, in Pennsylvania. Sarà il primo pay-per-view della WWE nella line-up del 2014. L'evento principale è programmato per essere Randy Orton che difende il WWE World Heavyweight Championship contro John Cena con vittoria solo per conteggio o sottomissione.
