Tre ragazzini inventano una formula per il computer, la realizzano e costruiscono artigianalmente un veicolo spaziale che, una volta in viaggio, viene chiamato nelle profondità galattiche da un'astronave extraterrestre. Giocata sul versante comico-burlesco e sostenuta da un'efficace tecnologia di trucchi ed effetti speciali, la 1ª parte è piuttosto godibile. Nella 2ª il racconto perde colpi: l'incontro con gli alieni è fiacco e dolciastro.

Bella è spinta dal marito Paul a credersi pazza, ma l'ex ispettore Rough le apre gli occhi: è Paul in realtà ad essere schizofrenico, per di più assassino, e lei deve collaborare per metterlo in trappola. Eccellente trasposizione di un lavoro teatrale di Patrick Hamilton, più efficace del remake diretto quattro anni dopo da George Cukor, con Boyer e la Bergman.

A Tale of Two Donkeys

An involving, beautifully modulated yarn about a young intellectual's "war" with two equines in a mountain village during the Cultural Revolution. A young student, Ma Jie, who is sent to a tiny Beigao village in Shanxi Province and has the mundane task of watching over livestock during the Great Cultural Revolution. Surrounded only by the extreme boredom, he initiates a war against two donkeys. What ensues as a result, is an impressive feature debut by director Li Dawei who manages to infuse a believable quirky and black humorous universe within a realistically grim setting.

Yggdrasill: Whose Roots Are Stars in the Human Mind

This film, a combination of hand-painting and photography, is a fulsome exposition of the themes of DOG STAR MAN. In that early epic I had envisioned The World Tree as dead, fit only for firewood; and at end of DOG STAR MAN I had chopped it up amidst a flurry of stars (finally Cassiopia's Chair): now, these many years later, I am compelled to comprehend YGGDRASILL as rooted in the complex electrical synapses of thought process, to sense it being alive today as when nordic legendry hatched it. I share this compulsion with Andrei Tarkovsky, whose last film The Sacrifice struggles to revive The World Tree narratively, whereas I simply present (one might almost say "document") a moving graph approximate to my thought process, whereby The Tree roots itself as the stars we, reflectively, are.

Potevo rimanere offeso! è uno spettacolo teatrale del trio comico Aldo, Giovanni & Giacomo del 2001 con regia di Massimo Venier, allo spettacolo ha partecipato anche Raul Cremona nei panni di Silvano il mago di Milano. Lo spettacolo è dedicato soprattutto alla proiezione dei filmati degli Svizzeri (Huber, Rezzonico e Gervasoni) già visti nel '96 a Mai dire Gol inframezzati dagli sketch del trio comico.

Viaggio al pianeta Venere

Pinotto, un animatore dell'asilo di New York, dirige per sbaglio il suo "razzoplano" verso la vetrina di un locale. La polizia insegue Pinotto che, per scappare, si nasconde in un autocarro. Ad un tratto Gianni, che lavora in un campo d'aviazione, rientra nell'autocarro con i rifornimenti. Arrivato alla Stazione Spaziale, Pinotto vede un enorme razzo spaziale e prende molti appunti, perciò viene scambiato da Gianni per una spia. Entrati nella segreteria, la segretaria scambia Pinotto per il dottor Pinotti. Il dottor Pinotti, arrivato si sente preso in giro, ma dopo il comandante afferma che in realtà Pinotto non è un Professore di Ingegneria Aerospaziale. Pinotto non può uscire: c'è il rischio che sparga la voce della missione non ancora in corso. Per non farlo uscire, il comandante da l'incarico a Gianni e a Pinotto di salire sul razzo per pulirlo e mettere a posto gli ingranaggi.
