Dhafer Youssef è diventato uno dei musicisti tunisini più conosciuti e apprezzati al mondo. Compositore, cantante e suonatore di oud, Youssef proprio grazie a questo strumento, dal quale riesce a trarre composizioni complesse improntate sulla tradizione araba, rappresenta un’unicità nella scena musicale contemporanea. Le radici della sua musica affondano nella tradizione Sufi e nella musica mistica, ma il musicista tunisino è sempre stato aperto alla musica di altre culture e al jazz. Youssef ha collaborato, tra gli altri, con Uri Caine, Tigran Hamasyan, Jon Hassell, Markus Stockhausen, Nguyên Lê, Omar Sosa, Hüsnü Senlendirici, il chitarrista norvegese Eivind Aarset e il trombettista Paolo Fresu. Lirismo arabo, potenza ritmica, improvvisazione contaminata da influenze multiculturali e jazzistiche sono le caratteristiche che distinguono le sue opere. Birds Requiem, il suo ultimo album, costruito come una colonna sonora cinematografica, è un’opera molto personale.

Scooby-Doo! and the Sea Monsters

The scares start in Hawaii, where Scooby-Doo and Shaggy are scarfing down the surf-and-turf menu until a giant serpent tries to swallow them faster than you can say She Sees Sea Monsters by the Seashore. In Uncle Scooby and Antarctica, a friendly penguin invites the Mystery, Inc. crew to visit his polar home, which happens to be haunted by an ice ghost! Manolo is a famous singer who has a brief affair with Diana, a beautiful hitchhiker. Diana becomes pregnant and gives birth to a child, Lito, the Manolo ignores their existence. One person who remembers the father Manolo, who follows that Lito is his grandson and both plan unite Manolo and Diana.
