Dopo alcune peripezie, Goku e gli altri riescono a distruggere i cloni grazie ad un piccolo aiuto di Bulma. Re Kaioh avverte i guerrieri che per mettere la parola fine a tutto bisogna localizzare l'artefice del Destron Gas, così Goku e gli altri lo localizzano su un asteroide vicino alla Terra e lo annientano, ma il dottore riesce a sfoderare il suo ultimo asso nella manica: Hatchiyack, una macchina il cui potere, secondo Goku, è addirittura superiore a quello di Broly.
