L'album è una registrazione dal vivo del secondo dei due concerti sold-out il 2 maggio 2009 all'Hampton Court Palace di Londra. Documenta le prime esibizioni dal vivo del concept album strumentale di Wakeman del 1973 The Six Wives of Henry VIII nella sua interezza, in celebrazione del 500esimo anniversario dell'ascesa al trono di Enrico VIII. Wakeman si esibisce con la sua band, The English Rock Ensemble, l'Orchestra Europa e l'English Chamber Choir.

In the end, he decides to take justice into his own hands, leading to a tragic ending where the inspector, fulfilling his duty, stops Ajaya. Chunauti is a story of love, courage, and sacrifice in the face of injustice.

Rigoletto

Un Rigoletto indimenticabile, quello che va in scena al Metropolitan nel novembre 1977. Nel ruolo del titolo spicca uno dei protagonisti di quegli anni al teatro di New York: Cornell MacNeil, capace di donare al personaggio del buffone una tinta umanissima, ma senza trascurarne il lato malvagio. Placido Domingo è un Duca strepitoso, per mezzi vocali e travolgente carica vitale; Ileana Cotrubas una Gilda perfetta, fragile e implorante. Di alto livello anche il resto del cast, nel quale spiccano il possente Monterone di John Cheek e l'avvenente Maddalena di Isola Jones. La direzione di James Levine si distingue per un impressionante, serratissimo ritmo drammatico.

Nabucco

Nabucco re di Babilonia, conquista la città di Gerusalemme; a nulla è valsa la cattura di Fenena (figlia di Nabucco) da parte di Zaccaria, il Gran Pontefice. Rivedendola, Ismaele (nipote del re di Gerusalemme Sedecia), cede al suo amore e la libera. Tornati in Babilonia, Fenana si è convertita alla causa degli ebrei e Abigaille (che ha appena scoperto di essere figlia illegittima di Nabucco) imbeccata dal Gran Sacerdote di Belo della notizia della morte in guerra del re, ne approfitta per salire al trono. Ma Nabucco non è morto, anzi torna e in preda alla follia si paragona a un dio, scatenando un fulmine che lo colpisce. Abigaille quindi prende la corona, fa rinchiudere suo padre e condanna a morte Fenena e tutto il popolo ebraico. Nabucco però rinsavisce e - con l'ausilio del fidato Abdallo - riprende il trono, libera Fenana e gli ebrei, e si converte al giudaismo. Abigaille, si toglie la vita avvelenandosi.

Giuseppe Verdi - La forza del destino

Donna Leonora, figlia del Marchese di Calatrava, si prepara a fuggire segretamente con il suo amante Don Alvaro (figlio del Viceré del Messico e di una principessa Inca). Il marchese entra inaspettatamente. Alvaro esita ad alzare l'arma contro il padre della sua amante e getta la pistola. Mentre cade, la pistola spara e il marchese viene ferito a morte.
