A causa dei cambiamenti climatici e della mancanza di neve è stato necessario sviluppare imponenti mezzi tecnologici per produrre un paesaggio ideale svincolato dagli eventi di natura. Il paesaggio delle Alpi è ormai divenuto uno sconcertante ibrido di tecnologia e natura. Questo documentario segue le modifiche del paesaggio e le tracce inestinguibili lasciate dalle invasioni degli uomini, osservando per un intero anno il processo di trasformazione delle Alpi, scoprendo tutto ciò che è abitualmente nascosto ai turisti invernali sotto uno spesso manto di neve artificiale.

1989: 64th and last year of the Showa era. A girl is kidnapped and killed. The unsolved case is called Case 64 ('rokuyon'). 2002: Yoshinobu Mikami, who was the detective in charge of the Case 64, moves as a Public Relations Officer in the Police Affairs Department. His relation with the reporters is conflicted and his own daughter is missing. The statute of limitations for the Case 64 will expire in one year. Then a kidnapping case, similar to the Case 64, takes place. The rift between the criminal investigation department and police administration department deepens. Mikami challenges the case as a public relations secretary.

A young horse says hi to little donkey Spunky. But the horse's mother pulls him away, saying we don't associate with that kind. Spunky makes a few more overtures, and eventually they set off on a chase, running across a bull from time to time. The horse stops to eat a lot of apples and drink far too much water; this leaves him too bloated to move much at all. The two continue to anger the bull, which gives chase; Spunky saves the colt, and they all live in harmony.

Repete

This is one of the classic animations of the 1990s with its surreal tale of the struggle between the sexes. All the strains as well as the closeness of relationships are shown, the title referring to the repetition of the tensions throughout our lives. It also reveals the role the woman plays in a marriage and the need, though often not communicated properly, of the man for this companionship and support.
