L'industriale Azzali, invaghitosi di una indossatrice, decide di far sorvegliare sua moglie da un investigatore privato per cercare un pretesto per la separazione. Incaricato della sorveglianza è Osvaldo che, dopo aver scoperto che la signora ha una relazione con il proprio autista, la ricatta estorcendole una somma di denaro.

Julia è una nobildonna affetta da un tumore maligno e consapevole di morire. Decide di trascorrere i suoi ultimi giorni in Italia a Lignano, prima del suo ricovero in ospedale. Appena arrivata nella lussuosa villa, vede in un programma televisivo, un giovane uomo che ricorda di aver conosciuto e che infatuato di lei, le aveva lasciato il proprio recapito telefonico. Valerio è un giovane ingegnere, sposato non felicemente. Julia propone a quest'ultimo di passare diversi giorni insieme. I due si innamorano vivendo così momenti di passione. La donna però non rivela il suo segreto a Valerio, per non rovinare i loro momenti felici e per non ricevere pietà. Un giorno però dopo una passionale notte d'amore, Valerio viene a sapere da un'amica di Julia del male incurabile di lei e del poco tempo che le rimane da vivere. Dopo un primo momento di doloroso smarrimento ed un confronto tra i due, Valerio decide di non abbandonare Julia e restarle accanto in ogni momento.

I soldati assalgono il castello di Fantaghirò per catturare i figli di Caterina e Carolina, ma Romualdo riesce ad allontanare le truppe nemiche dal castello, rimanendo però vittima di un incantesimo: viene tramutato in una statua di pietra che solo il potere di un bacio di Tarabas può riportare alla vita. Fantaghirò decide di mettersi in cammino per trovare Tarabas e durante il suo viaggio arriva in un castello, assediato dalla truppe del malvagio stregone....

Una studentessa scompare e il giorno dopo viene scoperto che è stata vittima di un pirata della strada. Partendo dalla ipotesi che rapitore e pirata della strada siano la stessa persona, la polizia comincia a cercare testimonianze e ne trova due: Soo-ah, una donna non vedente, che era una volta una promettente studentessa dell'Accademia di Polizia, e Gi-seob, un giovane che dice di aver visto l'incidente. Il problema è che i due testimoni riferiscono versioni differenti dell'accaduto.

The film, showcases how global recession/ meltdown impacted lives from an America based businessman to underworld dons in the dusty plains of small town India.
