Affiancato dalla dottoressa Bridget Thorne, una dei chirurghi che lo curarono dopo l'incidente che lo deturpò, e che sostiene di essere in grado di restituirgli la perduta sensibilità riallacciando le terminazioni nervose recise, Darkman deve opporsi al re della droga che l'ha sovvenzionato e che ora vuole a tutti i costi impadronirsi della tecnologia sperimentale messa a punto dallo scienziato.
