Gli episodi, alcuni dei quali si possono considerare semplici sketch, intendono rappresentare i molteplici modi di essere della donna italiana negli anni settanta. Al di là delle poliedriche capacità interpretative e dell'innata simpatia della Vitti, i soggetti e le sceneggiature non sono sempre all’altezza, e in vari casi trapela una morale misogina (ossia, la donna d’oggi vorrebbe sembrare forte e sicura di sé, ma al dunque non lo è). I più riusciti e originali sono forse L'allumeuse e Il mondo cammina; il più insulso, e anche il più gratuitamente razzista, Mamma.

Life of a Mutt

Through seven scenes, the film follows the life and destinies of stray dogs from the margins of our society, leading us to reconsider our attitude towards them. Through the seven “wandering” characters that we follow at different ages, from birth to old age, we witness their dignified struggle for survival. At the cemetery, in an abandoned factory, in an asylum, in a landfill, in places full of sorrow, our heroes search for love and togetherness. By combining documentary material, animation and acting interpretation of the thoughts of our heroes, we get to know lives between disappointment and hope, quite similar to ours.

Grazie all'aiuto di Runi, il fratello sciamano che lo ha iniziato ai culti misterici dei pellerossa, riuscirà a sconfiggere Blount ma dovrà affrontare anche i suoi demoni interiori (che si materializzeranno nella mente del protagonista dopo un viaggio psichedelico con la ayahuasca).
