Journey: Live in Houston 1981 - The Escape Tour

Recorded and filmed on Journey's "Escape" tour in November of 1981 at the Houston Summit in Houston, Texas, "Live In Houston 1981" captures the band at the height of their commercial success. The concert was first filmed and recorded as a concert for the then-fledgling MTV network Hits such as "Lights", "Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'", "Wheel in the Sky", and "Any Way You Want It" are in evidence plus tracks from the band's then-current album "Escape" like its title cut, "Open Arms", "Who's Cryin' Now" and "Don't Stop Believin'" .

In occasione del cinquantesimo anniversario della sua prima band. Un tour di successo, da cui è stato tratto questo splendido Live, registrato il 28 Maggio dello scorso anno alla Royal Albert Hall, Londra. Un concerto in cui Rodgers ha rivisto le canzoni che hanno reso celebri i Free, da Allright Now a My Brother Jake, Fire & Water, The Hunter, Wishing Well, Mr. Big etc. Un concerto di ottimo livello, coinvolgente.

Soundgarden: Live From The Artists Den

A febbraio 2013 i Soundgarden si esibirono al Wiltern di Los Angeles per l’ultima tappa del loro King Animal Tour: il concerto fu ripreso dalla Artists Den, una serie televisiva americana a tema musicale che, appunto, riprende e trasmette poi in tv i concerti dei più grandi artisti tenuti, però, in luoghi inconsueti. L’esibizione in questione dei Soundgarden fu registrata ma mai pubblicata, almeno fino al 26 luglio 2019, infatti, è uscito Soundgarden: Live from the Artists Den, quel grandioso concerto che vuole essere una sorta di tributo alla memoria di Chris Cornell, scomparso nel 2017.

Stan Getz & Chet Baker: Live in Stockholm 1983

Benchè Stan Getz e Chet Baker sembrassero essere molto compatibili a livello musicale, a causa del reciproco disprezzo che caratterizzava il loro rapporto personale, lavorarono insieme solo in tre occasioni separate. L'ultima volta fu per un tour europeo del 1983 da cui è tratto questo video, trasmesso dalla televisione svedese, che riprende un concerto del quartetto di Getz (con Jim McNeely al piano, George Mraz al basso e Victor Lewis alla batteria) a cui si aggiungeva Chet Baker alla tromba ed alla voce. Il concerto fu registrato al Södra Theatern di Stoccolma il 18 febbraio 1983.
