Il soldato del titolo è un prigioniero di guerra degli americani. In cambio della libertà viene reclutato per un'azione di commando nel territorio siciliano, in vista dello sbarco alleato del 1943, da compiersi proprio nei paraggi del paese d'origine del militare. Con un gruppo d'azione Rosolino viene paracadutato in Sicilia, ma la missione prende ben presto una piega imprevista e avrà un epilogo ancor più imprevedibile.

The boys parents are wandering in the corridors of the hospital. The heart is stopped during the surgery operation. Le Locle, a village in Switzerland acts as the heart of watch industry.
