The Mozart Brothers

This is a comedy about people who work in the theater, live for the theater, think of nothing but the theater. The director seems crazy, the art director has idiotic ideas, and the acting coach is eccentric: they even look like brothers, related by their common obsession for the theater, linked as one with the actors. The new project is Mozart's Don Giovanni, in which the director insists to give it a brand new interpretation and an avant-garde treatment. Now, he has to deal with the violent objection from the actors, the musicians, the singing coach, the stage manager, and even the cafe bar attendants and the cleaners. The situation is further complicated as the director is such a womanizer like Don Juan... and his lovers and kids keep bugging him throughout the rehearsal...

Taiki

Chiel and Linda travel to Sweden with their kids for a vacation. They want to go back to nature for a digital detox, especially for their son Bruno (9) who just wanted to stay at home to play games with his digital friend Taiki. On the way, tensions flare and Bruno is left by the roadside for punishment. When Chiel and Linda return to pick him up, however, the boy has disappeared into the Swedish forest where he finally learns that the real world is much more exciting than the world of computers...

Hidden Camera: Basic Instinct

Ordinary housewife Ji-soo's (Lee Sun-joo) dream is to be loved by her husband. Her husband Tae-joo (Park Jeong-hwan) is a rough debt collector who is unhappy about his sex life with his wife. Gangster Chang-soo (Jang Yong-seok) who makes videos from motels using a hidden camera under Detective Kang (Yeo Hyeon-soo) who commits corruption, borrows money from Tae-joo to gamble with but can't pay him back in time. Ji-soo finds out she's pregnant and is glad she can finally earn some love from her husband but she discovers a video of her husband cheating in the car blackbox. She calms down and comes home early one day to find her husband cheating on her. However, the woman who is sleeping with her husband turns out to be her own mother (Lee Eun-mi-I). Ji-soo plans to take revenge and there is a man who is watching her in secret...

At an Uncertain Time

Steamboat Willie

Topolino è alla guida di un battello a vapore fluviale, fischiettando "Steamboat Bill" e suonando i tre fischietti della barca. Sul ponte arriva il vero capitano Pietro Gambadilegno che caccia via Topolino, il quale finisce in un secchio d'acqua e viene deriso da un pappagallo (a cui Topolino lancia il secchio in testa). Il battello si ferma al "molo Podunk" per raccogliere un carico di vario bestiame. Subito dopo che il battello è ripartito, sul molo appare Minni che, non essendo riuscita a salire in tempo, rincorre la barca cercando di farla arrestare. Topolino però riesce a portarla a bordo agganciando la gru alle sue mutandine. Atterrando sul ponte, Minni fa cadere a terra la sua chitarra e uno spartito della canzone "Turkey in the Straw", che vengono mangiati da una capra. I due topi allora usano il corpo della capra come un fonografo ruotando la coda come una manovella. Topolino usa vari oggetti sulla barca come percussioni e "suona" gli animali come strumenti musicali.

The Alphabet

Prima di diventare famoso per film e serie televisive cult, David Lynch realizzò una serie di cortometraggi nei quali possiamo ritrovare gran parte della sua poetica. Uno dei più interessanti è sicuramente The Alphabet, incubo (ed ispirato da un incubo reale, pare) sulle lettere. Sospeso tra una prima parte in cui domina la ricerca pittorica e figurativa, tipica della prima fase (vedi il corto Six Figures Getting Sick), ed una seconda recitata in live action, il corto mostra come le lettere escano dolorosamente dagli oggetti che loro stesse creano per entrare -altrettanto dolorosamente- nel corpo umano reificato.

Elias e il tesoro in fondo al mare

Inizia la stagione di pesca invernale e, per evitare il fallimento di Cozy Cove, il bottino deve essere ricco. Elias e le barche dei pescatori devono però affrontare la flotta di moderni pescherecci della Regina Polar, decisa a recuperare il tesoro che si troverebbe a largo della baia. Temendo che Elias possa sapere dove si trova, la Regina manda Gaddy, il mini-sottomarino, a spiarlo.

Topolino a pesca

Topolino e Pluto stanno pescando al mare. Pluto trova una cozza sotto la sabbia che gli si blocca in bocca, così va a chiedere aiuto a Topolino il quale, pensando che il cane abbia fame, gli dà un würstel. Il würstel viene ingurgitato dalla cozza, che si mangia anche il panino di Topolino. Quando però mangia del pepe, si mette a starnutire e se ne va dalla bocca di Pluto. Rimbalzando sulla sabbia, la cozza sveglia un gabbiano che cerca di mangiarla, ma essa gli sfugge entrando in mare. In seguito il gabbiano affamato inizia a mangiare i pesci che Topolino usa come esche (vanificando anche i tentativi di Pluto di fermarlo). Topolino alla fine si accorge del ladro, e cerca di riprendersi le esche. Il gabbiano chiede allora aiuto ai suoi compagni, che inseguono Topolino e Pluto. Così il gabbiano può mangiarsi tranquillamente tutti i pesci.
