NOFX: The Final Show (Night 2) Oct 5, 2024

NOFX brought the curtain down on four decades of punk mayhem this weekend, as they played their final shows at Berth 46 in Los Angeles. Changing setlist for each gig, California's pharaohs of punk took a varied, often fast and usually silly journey through their massive catalogue, accompanied by a crew of mates including Rancid's Tim Armstrong, Bad Religion's Brett Gurewitz and Foo Fighters' Chris Shiflett. As they finished up on Sunday night (October 6), it ended in typically chaotic fashion, doing The Decline with a host of guests, with Pennywise guitarist Fletcher Dragge smashing the band's instruments. Frontman Fat Mike recently insisted that this would be it for NOFX, with no future reunions ever to happen. A promise such behaviour will help to keep... Before that smashey ending, they turned up to suck live one final time...

The Bogey Man

The first of Jesper W. Nielsen trilogy: Buldermanden, Lykkefanten and Ogginoggen. Ida and her little brother are visiting their strict grandmother who threatens them with the bogey man if they are not kind. When Ida's little brother gets a toy dog from her grandmother, Ida becomes jealous and lures the brother to show the dog for the bogey man.

Double Bluff

One man's attempts to defeat the tortures of his own mindscape come to a head in the midst of a game of poker, when a mysterious figure interjects the flow of things and everything takes a turn for the worst. As the audience and the protagonist experience the same horrors it leads them to ask the question - who's bluffing? Written and directed by Santino Benedetto, DB was brought to life by him and his fellow filmmaker and life long friend Thomas Dylan Gracey.

Premiered on June 13, 1996 at the Astengo Theater, in Rosario, Argentina and last performance on December 3, 2002, at the Sports Pavilion, in León, Spain, 'Bromato De Armonio' was a show made by the Argentinian comedy-musical group Les Luthiers. Ma mentre una è una rocker, all'apparenza dura e molto matura, l'altra è la tipica giapponese carina e sorridente e dall'aspetto un po' infantile. Le due alla fine si lasciano e ritornano alle proprie vite. Si viene così a sapere che Nana Osaki è una cantante che ha lasciato da poco il suo gruppo. Uno dei componenti, il suo ragazzo, si è unito ad un'altra band, molto in voga in Giappone. Affranta e completamente sola, va in cerca per la città di un appartamento e il destino vuole che capiti proprio nella stessa abitazione in cui si trova Nana Komatsu, la ragazza incontrata sul treno.
