An autobiographical documentary made by a mother who follows the gender transition of her adolescent son: between 2016 and 2019 she interviews him addressing the conflicts, certainties and uncertainties that pervade him in a deep search for his identity. At the same time, the mother, revealed through a firstperson narration and by her voice behind the camera that talks to her son, also goes through a process of transformation required by the situation that life presents her with by breaking old paradigms, facing fears and dismantling prejudices.

Inside and outside the well-kept hedges life carries on as usual. The King buys his daily newspaper. Bertil searches the parking lot for dogs to photograph. Hans and Gun-Britt is planting a big, but still too small rock in their garden. Trying to get their minds off it all. As darkness falls over the little village in the woods, the Indians gather for a meeting in the town house as angst, frustration and silent prayer echoes in the night. With visual precision and attention to detail, director Mikel Cee Karlsson captures people and their existence in a small village deep inside the Swedish forest. Over a period of four years, the music video director and former professional skateboarder Mikel has been capturing singular scenes from a part of today’s Sweden where reality inexorably seeps in behind the colourful fasad. With a mixture of playful precision, humour and melancholy he portrays people’s dreams, their relationships and everyday destinies.

Maciste contro Ercole nella valle dei guai

Per sfuggire ai creditori e al pubblico inferocito per l'ennesima pagliacciata presentata sul ring, l'impresario di lotta libera Raimondo Rusteghin e il suo socio salgono a bordo di una macchina del tempo decisi a raggiungere un futuro migliore. Ma, sbagliando a manovrare i comandi, si ritrovano catapultati nell'antica Grecia, dove, scambiati per maghi, vengono coinvolti, loro malgrado, nella rivalità tra Ercole e Maciste e, quando due ancelle li aiutano a recuperare la macchina del tempo, sono ben felici di tornare nel presente. Marchesi e Metz scrivono per Mattoli una parodia dei "peplum" di Cinecittà utilizzando l'espediente del viaggio nel tempo e confidando sulla simpatia e sul talento di comici e commedianti assai popolari.
