Turn of the Tide is a 1935 British film directed by Norman Walker. It was the first feature film made by J. Arthur Rank. The work is based on the novel Three Fevers by Leo Walmsley.

The Island of the Lost

The Island of the Lost (German: Die Insel der Verschollenen) is a 1921 German silent science fiction film . It is a loose unauthorized adaptation of the 1896 novel The Island of Doctor Moreau by H. G. Wells. Author Wells was allegedly unaware that this unauthorized version of his novel existed. Thought at one time to have been lost, a print has turned up at the Bundesarchiv in Berlin, Germany. The film was only screened in the US for the first time at a "Monster Bash" convention in 2014. Comments from the attendees included the fact that the film was somewhat illogical, and had more emphasis on comedy and romance than horror, but that it offered "memorable glimpses of human-animal hybrids".

Dopo innumerevoli rinvii, è arrivato il DVD di Pulse, contenente la registrazione dello spettacolo già edito su doppio CD che i Pink Floyd (orfani di Roger Waters) tennero durante il loro ultimo tour, in promozione dell'album "The Division Bell" nel 1994 all'Earls Curt di Londra. Lo storico concerto era già uscito in VHS ma il supporto digitale, oltre ad apportare migliorie sonore, da la possibilità di vedere filmati inediti dei dietro le quinte. Il concerto è suddiviso in due parti: nella prima si trovano i grandi successi come “Learning To Fly”, “Another Brick In The Wall (part 2)” e “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” mentre la seconda è interamente dedicata a “Dark Side Of The Moon”.

"Wish You Were Here", pubblicato nel settembre del 1975, è stato l'album di follow-up del famoso "The Dark Side Of The Moon", ed è citato da molti fan, così come i membri della band Richard Wright e David Gilmour, come il loro album preferito dei Pink Floyd. Questo video racconta la storia della realizzazione di questa importante uscita attraverso nuove interviste con Roger Waters, David Gilmour e Nick Mason e interviste all'archivio del defunto Richard Wright. Sono inoltre presenti il designer di copertina Storm Thorgerson, il vocalist ospite Roy Harper, l'uomo che brucia nella copertina Ronnie Rondell ed altri coinvolti nella creazione dell'album. Inoltre, l'ingegnere di registrazione originale Brian Humphries rivisita i master tape presso gli Abbey Road Studios per illustrare aspetti della costruzione delle canzoni.

Il 22 Novembre 1981, nel bel mezzo di un tour americano monumentale, i ROLLING STONES arrivano a Chicago per suonare per tre serate consecutive al Rosemont Horizon. Molto influenzati dal blues di Chicago i ROLLING STONES vanno a visitare il Checkerboard Loung, il club di MUDDY WATERS dove il leggendario bluesman si sta esibendo. Basta un attimo e Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood e Ian Stewart salgono sul palco. Poco dopo si aggiungono anche BUDDY GUY e LEFTY DIZZ. Fortunatamente questa serata memorabile è stata immortalata dalle telecamere. Ora il filmato originale è stato restaurato.
