Nell'America degli anni '90 una ragazza rimasta sola con il proprio fratello dopo la morte improvvisa della madre (dal padre si erano allontanati anni prima per eccesso di violenza) e la fine del proprio matrimonio, chiusa nella dipendenza dall'eroina decide di affrontare il Pacific Crest Trail a piedi, più di 1.600 Km in totale solitudine macinati in più di due mesi. In questo periodo ripensa a quello che le è successo e che è determinata a superare con un'impresa che pare superiore alle sue forze.

And they also get to know that Ha-yeon had been blackmailed and finally they witness how she was killed. Ha-jong feels guilty as she couldn't help her sister and she becomes desperate to find the murderer.

Il film avrebbe dovuto essere un poliziesco dai risvolti sociali, ma giunge a risultati poco più che risibili: contorto e confusionario, attorciglia sei storie in una, senza trovare il bandolo di nessuna di esse.

Siamo verso la fine degli anni Settanta. Dave, universitario di provincia, è un giovane molto originale per essere un americano: il suo idolo sportivo è infatti il campione italiano di ciclismo Felice Gimondi; nel tempo libero Dave ascolta musica lirica e suda sui pedali per emulare il grande modello. Egli sogna infatti di competere con ciclisti italiani e ci riesce: la realtà lo delude, ma non lo normalizza.
