Sullo sfondo degli affari che muovono una provincia portuale, Leo, un giovane orfano, prova a mantenere in vita l'attività` ereditata dal padre, malgrado la persecuzione di uno strozzino: Tonino Paffone, proprietario di un mediocre ristorante asiatico e aspirante intermediario nell'import-export per conto della malavita cinese.
